I'm from Boston, Bird just retired so I followed the Suns pretty closely, I would have loved to have seen Barkley get a ring. Unfortunately Barkley took summers off and didn't keep himself in great shape the way Bird, Magic MJ, Kobe did. The summer of 92 was the only summer Barkley kept himself in shape because of the 92 dream team. No coincidence his MVP year came after the 1 summer he kept himself in shape.

The GOAT of the ringless.
THIS IS BASKETBALL!! I miss these days when the hustle for the ball is real. I used to watch these games standing cause I get so hyped
The game has changed so much. Barkley, Bird, Jordan, etc actually grinded and hustled for the ball instead of watching it go out of bounds.
The fact that Jordan and Barkley were best friends tells you who the 2nd best player in the game was. Game recognize game. Jordan was better, but he knew Chuck was coming for that ass at all times, and Jordan respected the hell out of him. If they both played in this era, they would win the title every year because now its cool to make Dream Teams. I'd take a MJ/Chuck tandem over any team today and it wouldn't be close.
fortnight GOD contrary to his media MVP Chuck was not the best or even 2nd best player in the NBA that year.
Another guy in the NBA wearing #34 could've (and imo should should've) won MVP in 92-93.
Barkley the MOST physically dominate player EVER
This was the greatest game of Barkley's career.
Best PF I Ever Saw
This was an epic 7 game series
One of the great game 7 performances in NBA history. I saw Charles play and even I forget how good he was.
he just gets great position on some of these rebounds
Comparing Draymon Green to Barkley is like comparing Club Soda to Coca-Cola.
I loved those Supersonic teams, but in the playoffs, especially game 7s, they were Ice cold 🥶
Deep comment
89-90 Barkley was even better than this version of Barkley.
If you're from Boston you knew Bird liked to drink at the bar from time to time.
Young People who see fat funny chuck on tnt don’t know what an athlete this dude was
the nba is finally starting to get back to this level of basketball...the 90's nba was awesome
So talented...
Sir Charles. I actually owned the video game and when I tell you Barkley was impossible to beat in that game go and try it first time go hahaha. such a good game.
That interview man amazing wish we saw more emotion and spirit in todays NBA I don't think nba players care as much about the game as they do their money
Notice how Barkley was smart enough not to trash talk Jordan during that postgame interview 😅😅😅
A ring doesn't make a legend..It's how the player plays that turns him into a legend.. Barkley is part of the 50th Greatest NBA Players of all time, and he's in basketball's HOF! That guy was BEAST!
Barkley has very clean and beautiful shot form.
6'6 and he gets 24 rebounds.
I keep 6'4". I know he is listed at 6'6" but he does look smaller than that.
6´4 5/8 ft Olympic Measure.
Defender80s Even more impressive. Shorter than some of the guards.
Yup. But the dude was like 260 lbs and had a 39 vertical inch in his 20s (phily)!
Defender80s That's a lot of weight to get 40 inches in the air lol.
