- This is the one hundred and twenty ninth of the remastered Lorcan Film Unit Videos. There is a total of 10 hours worth of film that we hope to publish over time. Unfortunately Leslie Crowe who was the Director and creator of much of this content is no longer with us. So we are hoping to get your help to figure out the places and the names of the people he captured.
If you turn on the Closed Captions "CC" on the video to see what we know about the footage so far.

@@BaronVonPenguin it’s the Swords Road - Santry Stadium wall
The Old Dublin sign was for a rsstaurant on Francis Street
0:46 the Swords road looking North towards the airport - Santry woods on the left. I remember a bit further back there was a big hole knocked out of the wall that you could get through. I remember I hid a penny in a gap in the bricks. Wonder if it's still there 🤔 😁
The hole I'm pretty sure was filled up sometime back
Looks like earlier film clips than most, early sixties, some of it anyway.
Could well be he started filming around 58/59.
Great to have this old stuff but please change the creepy music .
Sorry Anthony just turn down the sound. That’s my brother playing the piano and a tune he composed so it’s special to us
@@LorcanFilmUnit Never mind them, Its a lovely fitting tune, The distortion cracks add a certain aesthetic to the track which is very fitting for these videos
@@razortube101 Yes, i also love the music and think it fits perfectly!
