But seriously, yes, it was insane to even try doing a perfect run, I must admit. I think I will take a real break from bullet-hells soon. Maybe on holidays, since sometimes I can't just keep up with all that craziness.

So I shall answer: at 5:37 (and the whole spell) it was a pure luck that I haven't got hit.
For the rest, well, it's far more complicated than you may think, i.e. dodging all that shit. But shortly:
Excluding the fact that I had to replay this stage like 80 times, where 3/4 of them on the first or second spellcard. And I am playing/practicing Touhou daily for 2 years.
I have a very analytical mind. And it's probably the characteristic I have since I remember. Whenever I see a puzzle of any sort, e.g. magic square, nonogram, or puzzles that requires fast and correct reaction (check Peak app or Rumble, these are ones I was used to play), I usually see the solution relatively fast, when others could still have problems with it. I see whole the situation, and I quickly find the path to complete/beat/go through the problem. _(and it's not bragging here even if it looks like it)_
The same goes with most of the bullet-hell attacks or patterns. While I often use the fact you can beat the spellcard by memorization, in some situations I need to beat some RNG attacks without this, or combine both.Maybe I don't analyze all the bullets' trajectories, but I see how much about they go, and how it's possible to get through it. When combining both memorization and reflex, I'm positioning myself according to the tactic, but then go to dodging bullets.
Aaand, yes, it seems a bit weird, but I don't see any better explanation for that. Maybe there's another thing that's weird but works for me, but I'm gonna leave it for the tutorial video (which is going to be released rather in the holidays due to studying.. Sorry, peeps.)

I'm pretty sure the first one is Suika's "Pandemonium", the tenth one seems to be "Three Fairies" from GFW, and #14 seems to be based on the final spell from Talos' Kokoro script.
Also, the spell you identified as "Aya's Photo shooting of death" is actually Hatate's Continuous Shooting "Rapid Shot" from DS. I'm pretty sure both of those two will be mad at you for that mistake.
