    This tool has been moved to the 'Laser Tools' Tab in Lightburn. Not your fault, it was like this when you made the Video, there was no 'Laser Tools' Tab then- just updating for anyone who might be confused.
    You might pin this comment or make one of your own so that this Video is still accurate. You could also add an annotation comment in the Vid at the timestamp ( 3:17 ish) which could note the corrected tool location. Excellent Video, it still works exactly the same- it's just been reorganized/moved to a different location.

    Once again, I am amazed at the thought and features put into this product (Lightburn). My fervent wish and hope is that Lightburn expands into the world of vinyl cutters and CNC machines to spread its magic to those poor souls. I have an old Roland Vinyl Cutter that's built like a tank and will last into the next millennium, but whose creators have forsaken with no driver updates for newer versions of Windows. Lightburn to the rescue (all fingers and toes crossed)?

    Thank you, Jason! I echo all the compliments on this thread. I just ran across this tutorial a couple weeks ago & I'm so thankful I had this little nugget of knowledge tucked away. I had to attempt my first "rescue mission" this evening. On my first try, I got an error (my fault as I had placed my piece just barely outside the cut boundaries). Once the placement was corrected the process worked flawlessly. You do an excellent job on your tutorials and I sure admire your attention to detail in the creation, maintenance and advancement of Lightburn software. Kudos to you & your team (if you have one ;) )!!

    Great video. My question is does the laser has to be set up on user origin, current position, or absolute coordinates.
    In your video, I can see that sometimes it reads current position, then it changes to user origins
    I understand once you do the cut n print automatically move to absolute coordinates

    • @lightburnsoftware7189
      @lightburnsoftware7189  Před 23 dny

      Absolute Coordinates is a requirement for Print and Cut so your laser must have limit switches. If you havent seen our newer video on this function it may answer some of your other questions: czcams.com/video/ddRW12VKIwY/video.htmlsi=PEuqBkQZ3NdT13RX

    • @lightburnsoftware7189
      @lightburnsoftware7189  Před 2 lety

      1) Depends on the controller, or which controls you're using. If you use the jog buttons in LightBurn, there is a speed control in the Move window. Otherwise you can usually change the speed by hitting the Speed button on your controller. 2) Yes. You kind of have to, otherwise, how would it run the job?
