My attention span went out the window for so long and I didn’t understand why because I used to be such a bookworm and write non-stop...but now I pick up a book and I can’t keep up with it, it’s sad because reading/writing is so important to me... I’m going to try the Read w/ Mi ✨

I love study with me videos. I’m majoring in engineering and it requires a lot of late nights and early mornings and sometimes it can get old and start to feel... isolating.
It feels like you’re the only person in the world that’s cranky, sleep- deprived, frustrated because you can’t get the problem, panicked because you need to get the problem to do well in the class
But watching study with me videos and knowing that in a way that someone is there with me makes the world of a difference.

I completely understand. I work at a computer all day and if I can just listen to an audiobook or a podcast, it helps me concentrate on what I'm doing.

Hope you don't mind this suggestion: when you're using parenting analogies as a parent myself, i don't mind them but might be an idea to think about adding other analogies that work well with everyone.
Listeeennnnn....I had my first baby 10-14-17 and just gave birth to my second baby 06-17-19...I had NO IDEA that my attention span and memory would go to utter SHIT when it comes to reading books, writing in my journal, creative writing (working on my stories, poetry, my first book, etc), my artwork, etc....a MESS! Oh, but you're right about the Devil's Snare which is the INTERNET and SOCIAL MEDIA. I'm glad I'm not alone because I would sit and feel guilty to be changing into something other than what I've been used to being. This on top if having PPA (Postpartum anxiety with the first baby...never getting a chance to really recover). Whew...

Only if you knew Amerie, you are one of my heros and so underrated. Back in 2004 Iwas going through turmoil and in 2005 my kids mother and I parted our own ways after 13 yrs. It had to be one of the biggest pains of my life as I had a serious nervous breakdown that put me in the hospital. My children suffered even more and it just seemed my world came to an end and there was no point of return. I had been following you since your debut album release and haven't stopped since. But your very first and second album helped me piece my life back together and heal me and my kids raising them as a single father on my own. Long story. But I made bad choices behind the ending of that relationship and it cost me more of my spiritual energy as well as my kids. But I stayed strong and played my songs that kept me positive and to seek who I was and what I seriously wanted out of life besides a wife and kids. And Now I am in the rt mind frame and taking off in the rt direction. Just wanted you to know how inspiring your music really is and it reflects who you are. Ty for not selling out . Stay Blessed and beautiful. Congratulations on your success in everything that you do..... Devin

I love to listen to you without editing! It sounds realistic and relatable. Your brain runs like mine, which means you think faster than you can get the words out. I’m really excited about your new channel. After several years of not being able to write because of extreme family problems and stress, I’m finally getting that “writing itch” again. It’ll feel like writing/reading with a friend. I prefer either classical music or rain or just silence. It’s not sweet of you to think of keeping us company and giving us encouragement and help. ❤️❤️ Also, have you read Stephen King’s On Writing? I’ve just started it on Audible.
