- Hi everyone,
This is my collage for week 11 of the challenge being hosted by Margarete Miller this year ( see below for details, if the #2024CW challenge is new to you and/or if you’re interested in taking part).
The prompts set for this assignment were as follows:
1. ‘An object that makes a familiar sound’ ~ the noise made by a closing door is a very familiar sound, so I used a door image for this prompt.
2. ‘Something found in space’ ~ I interpreted ‘space’ as outer space and the obvious choice for me, as the sci-fi fan, was an alien spacecraft.
3. ‘An art scrap’ ~ I found an embossed scrap in the right colour tones in amongst my stash.
4. ‘Something soft’ ~ There’s nothing softer than a cute, cuddly soft toy, especially if it’s a bunny.
5. ‘A set of three of something’ ~ triplets came to mind, so I used anime boys for my triplets.
Bonus ‘Tissue paper or napkin’ ~ For assignment 10, I coloured some tissue paper with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink and used it for the background. As I had plenty left over I made use of it as a background for this assignment too.

Hi and thanks so much for becoming a new subbie. I hope you can find some inspiration watching what I make. iI's what I love about our crafting community, that we can share and inspire each other. After I've done my weekly assignments I love watching how you and other artists interpret the assignment prompts... it's amazing how different we all can be.
I'm a fan of anime characters too, so it was an easy choice to go with my three anime boys ( perhaps a little unimaginative to chose triplets though...lol.)
@oakhousejournals Carol, I don't haven't found any other person who is a fan of anime. I'd love to know what you've watched. My twins got me into it years ago. I'm a fan, I LOVE the artwork. I made a junk journal using JoJo's Adventure images (which I have on my youtube) and I so enjoyed making it. My favorite if Hunter X Hunter so far. I'm no on to One Piece with Luffy but it's going slow b/c of my schedule. I'm really enjoying this too and when I've completed an ark (or maybe spelled arc) it feels like such an accomplishment 😀😊😀 I love watching others complete the MM challenge as well, you are correct, I love how we all have different interpretations of the prompts.
