You and your channel have helped me so much. I lost my job, and what was a hobby is now my main income. Today I went to a sale praying they still had the GRAIL toys they advertised on the estate sale flyer. All new old stock Street Sharks and new old stock early 90s Power Rangers toys. I walked in, and not one person was there, and like a movie, ALL of the toys were there. The lady gave me the Street Sharks for 12 bucks and the Power rangers Megazord for 5 bucks. This was like a dream! Then my second sale had 2 Olympus P/S cameras one digital and one film Sylus, both mint, those were 5 each. So yea, thank you for the great education and all the positive vibes.

I had a guy do that same bs to me. I spent over an hour digging through the crap that was crammed into a junk store only to be told by the owner that the arm full of stuff I found he meant to put on Ebay. He had the audacity to say to me, "Hey, I got to make money." I got pissed and left.

I know pre-WWII trains but not the new stuff. At $50 there wasn't much chance of losing. One that I still don't like is "Oh, we forgot to bring (whatever. We'll have it next time." Only there's never a next time.)

At current thrift store prices, 95% of NASCAR items aren't worth the ROI, even some vintage ones. I had a few '90's Earnhardt shirts, which you'd think would command a lot, and I finally had to lower the price to below $25 just to move it...and that was with free shipping. NASCAR items were overproduced, and most NASCAR fans would rather have a cheap modern repro than a vintage one that's $10 more. Rule of thumb for me...avoid NASCAR and most country music artists (exceptions being older Hank Jr, Alan Jackson & maybe George Strait shirts). Racing/country music fans are great people...but a bit on the frugal side.
