I remember Michael from your previous video and agree about hard work clearing the mind. My ranch hand job 75 days straight of intense labor was very cathartic. Safe travels Rockhopper and Michael, excellent work!!

Many people just don't understand that physical labour and effort can REALLY help the mind and the mindset. I have never come out of a training session....Martial Arts is my personal tool....feeling worse! ALWAYS feel so much better and more positive and focused. Great work Sir!!!!

Yes that’s him ! And I will. Fyi I don’t know why I said grizzly bear it was a black bear. I probably got grizzly on my mind since I had a ton of encounters with grizzly’s 😂

@@MarchOfTheWarrior27000km No worries, I think people know what you meant. And it's understandable because you had so many grizzly encounters.

Michael Jordan, I didn't know I had a brother from another mother in Canada ... I got the same set up but all the gear in the Thule bike trailer due to overweight, age and crappy knees.

I know the feeling. Im a ro otics engineer and I have been working 92 hours a week for 14 years. Shit hits different i. Your mid 40's. Over Xmas the last 2 weeks I worked 198 hours at the VW plant down Here in Chattanooga Tennessee. I added up all my time sheets for the last 14 years and did the math and I have average 78.4 hours a week for 14 years. I've had 81 days off in 14 years, its like grounds hogs day just work sleep, eat or shower. I have to alternate eating and showering because I don't have time to do both every day. Work from 6 PM to 7:30 AM 7 days a week, I have 6 more weeks of 14 hour days 7 days a week then I get a day off. I wake up everyday so hungover from working But I feel like I drink fifth of liquor by myself. I woke up today like 20 minutes ago had you go to the bathroom I'm so hung over and out of it I ran straight into the wall walking to the bathroom. Just stumbling around it's gonna take my brain like an hour and 3 redvulls before it starts to function. The struggle is real. People dont realize what it takes to work like this. They cant wrap their head around the amount of hours I work. Gotta get ready in about an hour to get at it again
My whole family and town relies on me. I pay for everything in my family all the house payments, car payments, college loan debts, my own bills....Ive paid for my best friends Moms funeral.... I'm just a sacrificial lamb to make sure that none of my family or friends ever has to worry about monetary issues or stress. It takes a certain type of mindset to Run yourself into the ground, Wake up and dig myself out of on my grave...I used to be able to work like this no prob in my early 39's but 40's it isnt as easy at all.

While I fully appreciate what this man is doing and I love this channel I don't love the title of this video. For instance, it sounds somewhat belittling to someone who has suffered serious trauma that needs actual treatment. It can come off as negative subtext: "Whatever happened to you is not as valid because of what my friend is doing to help himself." Or worse, "You don't need to take your medicine or talk to someone. Just do what this guy did." Both inferences are irresponsible, and also alienating. Don't get me wrong -- something like this could be a healthy addition to treatment and I really admire this. The deliverance could use a little finessing. While the title would be absolutely fine in casual, localized conversation, it's important to remember that when you upload something the conversation grows exponentially. Globally. No pressure.😅
I'm not trying to be a jerk and perhaps I could use a little of my own advice when it comes to finesse, but like I said, I love this channel and I'd like to take part in helping it grow. Sometimes a little constructive criticism is the way to go. Gosh I can't tell you how much I hate to give it; you've just touched upon a topic I happen to be really passionate about. I really hope none of this was offensive to you. The last thing I want to do is offend anyone. And please don't block me -- I hardly ever leave anything but positive comments and you'll probably never see another critical one from me.

No offense taken whatsoever. Quite the opposite. I appreciate your comment. I'm always striving to be better and appreciate the input from my viewers. Many of the smaller creators, sadly, feel like we are slaves to the algorithm and have to come up with titles we weren't originally going to go with such as this one in order to have a chance at getting views. It's a shame when we put our heart and soul and 60 hours of work (and a month of gathering footage) into a video that's high quality and only 200 people see it. I'm working on a very involved one right now and hope it will be rewarded with many views but the harsh reality persists. Your point is valid and I will keep it in mind. Thank you.

@@rockhopperadventuresYou're so sweet. The algorithms are the harbingers of corporate evil. I know it's so much work but just keep trudging through, it *will* pay off. Most often, all at once. There's no greater hell than monotony. I personally can't wait to see what you do next. I love catching smaller channels before they hit their growth spurt (even though it's the worst time for the creators). It makes me feel like I have taste.😁
