That place looks good on you!
I love your new look!
Thank you Glen!
Peace for your body and soul… Change is what we all need from time to time.
Rubeauti, you look very well and the haircut looks great on you. Congratulations on such a bold move! Also, I thought you were mid-twenties max!
Thank you so much! :D
@Rubeauti I agree. I think you look beautiful with short hair. If you don't get married soon, I'll consider the guys there dumb.
@lunavarion No disrespect maybe she's not into guys 😮
How old is she?
@nellatl I think she said in the next video that she's in her early thirties. Thirty one or something like that.
Congratulations on your move. I bet it was a hard decision. I love rural life, but prefer to be somewhat near a city, like maybe 1 hour away. We purchased land about 1 hour from Tacloban
Yes It's kinda hard to not have the things you want easily available.
I was on Siquijor in Jan. Really enjoyed the laid back attitude of the island. Short hair looks good. Enjoy life on the island.
I want to come in April from Mactan Airport to Dumegette. What's the best way to get their. 🤔

Rual life is the best life! I never want to live in a city ever again!
OMG I have the same feeling right now. I realized what I've been missing. And I realized how unhealthy to live in the big city.
I married a Filipina from Alcala, Pangasinan. Not only is it great to live somewhere rural, but marry someone that grew up there. Being humble and loving God’s blessings are priceless.
I love rual life
Hello Miguel of Spain,I love rural and simple life @@Rubeauti
@@Rubeauti welcome to Siquijor ❤
Garden / grewing stuff: you could start first with the usual suspects: fruit trees. So several kinds of banana, calemansi, star fruit.
I presume that the soil is a bit rained out, half kind of gravel. So make some kind of mini paddy field with dikes to keep the soil wet. Harsh labour! But you are still young. It will be very difficult to grow veggies and spices because of the sun, dry season, insects. But trying costs no money.
You can use the paddies to start flower plant cultivation. When they are big enough, you put them in larger pots.
Cool place... hearing all those bird sounds make me wanna be there. You'd be surprised how quickly you can get used to living alone. Rural, out of cities, is the best life!
new haircut. (new life)
omg, this changes your face so much in a good way. eyes, smile. even your tan. fresh and young looking.
(to be clear, I'm not simping. its just really visible)
You have been one my favorite people for quite awhile now. But would never have thought you would make a move like this. Cool.
That was actually a very good update Rubeauti! I knew most of it already I just wanted to say kudos to you for taking a risk that not everyone would take to find happiness 😊
Thank you Philip 😊
I live a simple, minimalistic quiet country life. Its great!! So much peace and joy. It may take you a little adjustment, but for what your planning to do will be great. May the blessings of eternal God be with you. Hes my best friend also being single. Be blessed.😊
You're never boring Ruby. I feel honored just to be able to listen to you.
Looks like a dream area to live. Please stay safe. It's so to stretch out in life on your own. I loved Siquijor when I was there. Stay safe and I hope you find love.
Congrats on this new adventure and gotta say, your new shorter 'do looks great Ru !!
You are great at speaking to camera Rubeauti, don't put yourself down! All that green and the sea nearby has to be really good for your soul! Going to make lots of really interesting stories as you settle in and start to change the house and garden! We have to see the doggie too please? Lots of blessings for your new life 🙏🏻🌹🐕
You are NOT boring. Really like the hair style.
You are a singular person. Lots of charisma along with a high intellect. I'm subscribed and my family home is in Valencia. God Speed!
What you're describing reminds me of going camping. You have access to everything you actually need. But you just have to plan ahead. I think I'd get a 5 gallon (maybe 20 liters) jug and make sure it's full before 9 pm.
It’s lovely !! I wish you well and honestly, you are such a natural beauty 🙏🙏🙏🌹🌹🌹
She's a Filipina, beauty is natural for the ladies here.
I am looking forward to sharing in your new adventure. GOOD LUCK! P.S. I have cockroaches too, but my cats make sure that they don't stay very long.
Change can be progress RB. Enjoy your new environment and the stress free environment!
I am enjoying so much here. Although I am still feeling if I can really live here long term. I think I can hehe
@@Rubeauti well if you don’t try you’ll never know. One thing for sure is your mind will be free to create!

I love your new haircut, really suits you.
The short hair suits you very well! Great video. Glad to see you're doing well 👊🏿
I am so glad you are explaining your new location. It sounds wonderful 😊
It really is! :D I am happy here. The only thing that I don't like is I am far from my province 😟 I miss my nephew
@Rubeauti you will be ok we know you will figure it out I believe in you thank you for sharing 😊
I'm Proud of you and how your doing your financial management at this age. Keep it up and you'll go far.
Aw thank you!
Great move into the semi-outback. Good to see that you're taking care of your mental health. Recharging your mental batteries are of importance in continuing developing your content. Yes, you need to develop your base station somewhere on one of those islands according to your operational metrics. Everyone needs to have their own place that is decorated by themselves with pics, uni degrees, paintings and so forth. Well, have fun, relax and recharge out there!
The cockroaches running around and no water after 9pm is a deal breaker for me.
It can be solved however...
Flyscreens can be installed and pest control done.
A water tank and water pump running on batteries can be installed. With enough batteries, you could use an air conditioner . No doubt you'd want to install a heap of solar to charge it / run it during the day time.
The breeze and by the ocean is cool.
Congratulations on moving! :) I would definitely find the "after 9:00 PM water availability" a challenging adjustment. When you next stream or upload, it would be awesome of you to record what the local geckos look like, lol. Stay awesome! :)
This is actually one of my favorite videos. I like you just talking about your life and the trials and tribulations that go into change. I am 69 now. I can understand how at 31 living alone for the 1st time could be scary. Especially in the jungle like this. You will hear every animal sound all night long. You are looking fantastic. How can I sub to the new channel? Have a Magical Day. (btw, I am coming to Dumaguete, Negros in March to see if I want to live there from Florida)
You’re a very sweet lady with a very loving demeanor. I’m happy that you’re happy with your new move. Please keep up the great videos. Who knows maybe I will bump into you when I visit that island. God bless you and your endeavors.
Please don’t apologize for anything as you are very elegant and so sweet.
Please be extra careful there dear, and find out where you might need to get to in case you had an accident. Welcome home
Rubeaulti
I love to garden, and your plan of having a base camp to travel from hit home with me.
I’ve been traveling around for a couple of years now trying to find that one area that tics all my boxes and I believe you pretty much found it 😍
To those who think this would be boring there have never worked on a small farm. A garden requires a lot of time invested and there will always be projects such as water harvesting, small scale solar everything, sweeping, cutting grass, raking leaves, etc.
All are good things to do to stay grounded. And the bonus of your little paradise is that you can pack your bag and be gone out the door in 30 minutes. I’m over in Iloilo right now but definitely coming back to Siquijor…I found it was so clean vs being in Dumaguete for 8 months. All the best to you and hope we get a chance to meet for a coffee one day☕️paul
Hi Rubeauti. I can completely relate to how you feel about the countryside. I’m Canadian living in the countryside of southern Shikoku, Japan. I lived in Tokyo for 1 year in the past, but I never have any desire to even visit a big city anymore. I grow a lot of my own fruit and vegetables and really like the relaxing, peaceful lifestyle of country life. Yes, moving to the country is a big change for a city person. Where I live, often times all I hear is the wind blowing and birds singing. This video was not boring at all. It was nice to hear you talk and share your new personal experiences living on Siquijor. Enjoy this new chapter in your life.
I wish you all the best ‼️🇨🇦❤️
I love siquijor. I met Asawa there, bought land, and we are building a house there. Glad to have you here. Hope you stay and love it too. May we will see each other in passing. I'll be sure to wave. 👋🏾
That was not boring but very interesting. I know several pinay, but you are the first I hear thinking loud about her deep thoughts and plans. Thank you for!
Wow! Very nice looking area! Best wishes and good luck on your new adventure!!
Congrats on your new life and it was not boring I enjoyed it very much. All you have to do is put your ideas on it and all will be good, and the gecko sounded ok not like a cicada beetle. Waiting for the next one.
Sorry about the crooked land deal that happened to you. At least I learnt what not to do when I get there
Congratulations on the move, I hope you find what you're looking for out there!
I love the sound of the wind and the sound of birds.
This place looks very peaceful. I like all the nature surrounding this place and the price is great.
You can even find cheaper than that that is closer to a more developed area hehe
You are so adorable! I'm looking forward to seeing a hair grow out. I suspect you will like living in the province area it's much calmer and more relaxing. That is my preference also when I retire
What a huge life change you’re going through. Two big changes, job and city to rural living. Just one of those would be challenging for most people. Just simply wow! Can’t wait to follow your upcoming experiences. Really enjoy listening to you and hope many more people get a chance to view your content. You’re right when you say it’s nice to have a place to call home. Enjoy your travels 😊
I am glad that you popped up in my feed. You had disappeared for awhile. Like the new hair style. It looks good on you. Have fun & looking forward to more content.
Thank you Brian! You too!
Rebeauti, Great update. This will be the beginning of a new chapter in your life. Perhaps a new phase. The future holds many wonderful things for you. T
right on wish you the best and your hair style looks great on you , , you seem genuine and have a peaceful heart
This is a wonderful format Rebeauti, the province life is wonderful and fresh ~ I see why you Love it as it is perfect. The gregarious ways about you compliment the loveliness of your smile from within. Best always,

Another great video. I hope you love the quiet country life as much as I do. Looking forward to your updates. God's peace to you.
Siquijor really does have a special feeling sort of settled and relaxed.....we were sad to leave but will definitely be back some time!......hope everything is going well for you R 😊😊
It sounds like you have a well thought out plan for yourself. Siquijor is one of the places I’ll come and visit in Oct.
Congrats on the move. I like the new Hair style too. I don't mind the sounds of the geckos and crikets. I just figure they are singing to me. Good luck with your new place.
Congrats on your move. I hope you will enjoy it there. Rural life is great. We are almost neighbours now. I live just outside of Dumaguete. I have not been to Siquijor yet but do plan to go as everyone says it is a great place to visit. You are looking very lovely with you new hair style. Keep smiling and stay safe
Congratulations! I wish you the best with your new life direction.
Just visited Siquijor and absolutely love it!!!! You are in a beautiful place. I will definitely visit again.
Excellent video 👍 Haircut looks great 😊
Thank you po 😊
Good luck in everything you do!! Your short hair looks great!!
I don't think you have ever been boring. I hope this next stage works well for you. Hugs Paul
Well that video was not boring, nice place to detox and come down. May i ask how much a property like that would cost? Or maybe your can make a video about? ;) Your new hair cut looks cool.
So special. This is so exciting. I am so proud of you and your courage. Well done Rubeauti. Well done
Congratulations on your move. I admire you more with each video. Always looking forward to the next one. 😊
what a great choice, that island is unique. you look so happy there.😃😃😃😃
Thank you David 😁
So proud of women like you. You are very pleasant and so humble . Good luckonallyout adventures
Your inner beauty shines through theses videos I don't find them boring at all. I can really relate to why you want to be based there. I'm seriously considering move out to Philippines from UK, your content is so appreciated 💛❤💛
i have a very close friend living on the island. he is the one who rents out the cars on the island. he has allot of connections there.
From awesome to amazing. I hope your new lifestyle is permanent, successful and feeds your soul.
A pilipina after my own heart. I love, love, love the change you have chosen.
I have a friend of mine living in Pampanga renting a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with indoor shower and toilet in concrete building and renting for 3000 pesos a month. Concerning going to the Toilet at night. I would get a 50 Gallon Rain Barrel you can use the Rain Water for going to the toilet at night. Just put a little chlorine in the water to prevent mosquitos and bacteria from growing in the water. When your expense is very low it takes much stress away from your life. with the money you are saving you can always take a ride to the closest city and have your fun.
The humble beginnings of greatness. Great location for rental unit. Remember the mold problem can be killed with toilet bowl clorinated application then rinsed after 30 mins fresh water. Enjoy the new place.
Such a lovely, refreshing video in so many ways! I'm very happy for you! 😊
Just ran across your channel. You are beautiful 😍. It's hard to beat the peace and quiet and tranquility of living a rural lifestyle.
from my experience (idk how true this is or not)
many filipina claim to move around the islands alot
this seems often the case on previous dating apps
but also it's a free life to live as one chooses, true enough
so no judgement, freedom is the ability to enjoy that.
Thank you for all the grate info this is on the top of my list to move to in the next 3 years this just made my desision more clear i new it was going to be phillapines some where but this area sounds like the best place for me thank you thank you thank you
We moved from Atlanta, Georgia to a small town outside of Iloilo. Our new town is also closed at 8:00 pm except for the 7-11 and no water pressure after 9:00 pm. We make sure to pump the big tank full during the day so I can shower at night. I like the province life and spend my time gardening and making bread. It is about 30 min drive to the city with the restaurants and night life, but I don't like to go except once in a while for live bands.
@8:30 you could invest in a Starlink setup for Internet via satellite. It's available in your country now.
Love this for you! Your skin is glowing, and the short hair is cute.
I wonder why properties like that don't have water tanks, to have water available 24x7? In India and Nepal I saw small water tanks everywhere.
Is Starlink an option for fast internet there, especially given you upload large videos?
yes they should install their own water tank too. They can do that but they don't do it haha maybe they try to save money 😁
Siquijor is a beautiful island. I only had a few hours available to explore it, but the little I experienced was very much to my liking. I prefer nature and solitude, but I admit I would miss the occasional night market and street food vendors. Shutting the water off seems a bit strange to me, but I'm sure they have a good reason for doing that. I hope to visit the island again in the near future, so knowing about the water situation is good information if I end up staying over night.
Congratulations on your move and venturing out on your own. I think you're going to love it. Wishing you nothing but the best.
Hi Rubeuti, you look amazing with your new haircut! As formely living in LA and san francisco I ahould know😂. On a serious note use white vinegar to kill the mold in your place. Mold will cause serious health problems. God bless😊
So much more peaceful out there! And I think you can rock super short cropped hair! Fun changes for you!
I dont know if this was due to the move but you definitely look healthier and prettier
This was a very interesting video to me because I can relate to much of what you were talking about. You mentioned wanting a small property and house to use as a home base, between travels. Superman had his Fortress of Solitude, Batman had his BatCave, and you will have your hideaway (you can pick the name of it). Lol I used to have a small farm and house. But lost it ten years ago when 2 business partners stole my money and left me deeply in debt. I've been living in a van ever since, working half the year as a campground manager and traveling the other six months. Now I have money saved up and want to buy a little place, but now property is so expensive in the US! I'm planning to come to the Philippines next winter. Maybe I'll be able to do a land lease there and build a small house.
Good luck on making your dream come true!
As a Swedish man, i was brought up with that quality of life is more important than the pursuit of an expensive and flashy life.
We in the Nordic countries in Europe live by the swedish word "lagom" which means "just the right amount" or "not too much, not too little" "just perfect "and that why we in the Nordic countries are in top 10 in the world in happiness and quality of life.
Keep allowing immigrants in that don’t share any of your history and values that will surely change
Happy maybe because with a good system in Sweden and also the salaries is a better 1 BUT... the long winter makes people get so lonely and bored most people stay inside and busy with their gadgets and or just go to pub or do some sports.,,in the month of november were most people feel so depress and some people take their lives by doing suicide...It's more scarry to go out at night time in Sweden thatn in the Philippines and other parts of Asia...
@@MsVroege u really misunderstand or trolling.. NOTHING you write about has anything to do with the swedish word "lagom" which means "just the right amount" or "not too much, not too little" "just perfect" ..
its about find that balance in life / quality of life is more important than the pursuit of an expensive and flashy life.
Kommer nok an på hvilket nordisk land.
Tal kun for Sverige for det er ikke helt sådan i Danmark.
@@nikolajc7617 har många norska finska och danska vänner och vi har alla ungefär samma grundtänkande där
If I was to move to the Philippines, Siquijor would definitely be at the top of my list of places.
Good luck on your new adventure. My whole life I have lived in rural places and I don’t think I can be happy in a city. I hope you can find a piece of land to buy. It’s always a good feeling to have your own place and make your own rules. It might be a little hard to adjust at first. We have a saying. “ you can take a person out of the city but it’s hard to take the city out of the person”. Good luck Miss Rubeauti.
you are on the right track.....if you can still live reasonably comfortably but beneath your total means you have an opportunity to save money and more as your channel continues to grow....as long as you are not having to support your family or giving them a set amount so you can still save you are ahead of the game.....
Hello Rubeauti , well done on the move I am sure it will not take you long to get into the swing of things , I would be very interested to follow your daily life there as it is a big change . The new look very nice also makes it a little easier to handle . As for the water problem at night what about getting a water tank and keeping it full for night use basic stuff washing before bed teeth toilet etc, not hard to do, if you used a large black tank the sun would warm the water for your shower :) Well all the best good luck take care always .
What a brave girl, Congratulations!!🎈
We wish you the best in your new habitat… God be with you 👍🙏
love your inputs and wisdom, of course I love watching you as well, love the new haircut
Congratulations on your move. I went to Siquijor on my last vacation to the Philippines. There are definitely some guys there that act jealous and hateful to foreigners. But the island is beautiful. Great waterfalls.
Good luck in your new home. I did the same thing when young and single and also did two trips all around the US with a tent, air mattress and sleeping bag. I slept under the stars and in areas you see in the movies. Back then we did not take photos like a phone can do today which is somewhat sad. Siquor is very small so you can go from the rural area to the city, beaches and waterfalls fairly quickly. You can also vlog real easy around the island. You can easily go to Cebu or Dumaguete if you want. You can fly out of Cebu all over SE Asia if you want. Do you have quality Internet and TV and what pets do you have? On a side note. You have a dog so please get him all vaccinations, protection against Parvo which kills many dogs in the Philippines and get all deworming and especially against heart worms. If you have inside varmits like geckos, mice, rats which love your type of housing a cat or two will take care of the inside problems.
Nice place, I really like it. But that with the water would stress me 😅 I am spoiled because I live in Switzerland 😊
omg and no signal 😮 that's a thing I could not handle...
@@switzerlandandthephilippines That's why filipinos make so many kids... they handle something else xD

Well done Rubeauti, just listen to your vibes!

Just make sure you stock up on a few canned goods and dry goods that don't expire in case you get a typhoon I would also put a big jug of water in storage just to get you through the downtime when there's no access on or off the island
Thank you for the tips! I will keep that in mind 🫶🏽
Congrats on your new adventure in the province, its a great change from living in the city.
