Cleaning and painting my £150 motobike, but does it actually look any better?

Today I give my £150 pioneer Nevada some much needed TLC on the form of a good wash and some paint on some of the worst areas. This I'm my first getting loose on a bike with a rattle can so do I actually make it look any better or do I make things worse ?
