this video is priceless i know I'm repeattitive but i'm addicted to this channel. we can learn so many things
there're so many vocabulary, I'm in heaven. we increase our vocabulary, we can do the shadowing technique as well..
there are phrasal verb as well. when i stop over to a shop for a short amount of time I used to say swing around.
From now on I'm going to use swing by.

Not only this video but your contents explain the words why you chose the word in this phrase, for example, " on my way home from the office I swung~". I had not comprehended why you use "swing" before watching this video. However, this video will make me memorize that strong. Hi good morning! Thanks so much for your kind words! As teachers, we believe that the best way to achieve fluency is consistent practice! Day by day, week by week. Mimicking, repeating and saying words out loud over and over are invaluable for achieving fluency.

Could you say something about the time of eating, the schedule.?. They are different for other places,
In the UK, dinner time is typically between 5pm and 7pm. It's a bit early compared to other cultures.
In the US, (I think), dinner is typically between 6pm and 8pm.
But we've both been to places where dinner time starts much later, in Valencia in Spain for example, we noticed that some restaurants didn't even open until 8pm or 9pm, and we were very very hungry while we were waiting! :)

Thanks so much - and good question!
Both British and Americans use "figure out in the same ways, but perhaps Americans use it a bit more often.
As a British person, I think I'm more likely to say: "work out" instead.
UK: "I still need to [work out] what we're having for dinner."
US: "I still need to [figure out] what we're having for dinner."
Both sentences have exactly the same meaning, and both would be understood by Americans and Brits - so you can choose your favourite! - Mark

Thanks! ❤ I've noticed that in British English you say "watch telly" without "the" but when you say "there's something good on the telly" or "turn on/turn off the telly" you use the definite article. Is there a particular grammar rule here or is it an exception just like "go to school" or "go home"?

That's an interesting point about the article, I think the difference is that one is an activity, and one is literally the object in the house.
For example:
[Watching telly] is the activity. This has no article.
"I like watching telly in the evenings".
"I want to just sit down and watch telly tonight."
"I just watched telly all morning."
[The telly] is the literally TV set / device in your house. This one does have an article.
"My cat knocked over the telly!"
"I saw the news on the telly."
"I turned off the telly"
I hope that makes sense!
