Scary that we had similar younger days, I too wanted to be a custom painter, and i had a similar van, but mine was a 66 Dodge i painted it maroon with a gold band around the middle, had Cragars with L-60s on the back and a slant six. It wasn't my first ride but I think 3rd, after a 55 Chevy, then a Vega. Man i miss my teenage years!!
Yeah sounds like we grew up similar situations,,I did a lot of custom work and paint in various shops over time and now I'm retired and sitting on my but building models and I've never been happier,,thanks for the cool comment buddy later Glen

One of the cool things about drag racing is that however your car is built, if it passes safety inspection, there will be a class it can race in. Your 69 AWB Coronet could race in Altered or if it doesn't fit any particular class it can race in brackets. I just watched a long video of old gassers and several had solid rear frame mounted wheelie wheels. I approve.👍 In that video, there was a 51 Chevy Fleetline (fastback). That's what the AMT kit is. Pretty similar to yours. "She's real fine my 409." In the 1970s I lived in San Fernando, California at 1070 Orange Grove Ave. Down the street near 4th street there was a house numbered 409. Or as the number on the front of the house said, "4-0hh-9". And parked in the driveway was his immaculate 62 Impala with a 409. Said so on his personalized license plates. Now what other treats are on the rest of your video?

Nice builds especially the 53 Ford altered wheel base. Super Bee is pretty wild. Love the idea of a pro stock Little Red Wagon. My first car was a 1969 Ford Falcon Futura with inline 6. Cheers from Nova Scotia.

Grand Funk Railroad and BTO are some great '70s bands That I actually bought some of their records. That 398 HP decal on the Super Bee gasser is too low! It needs to be cut apart so it's 983HP!
Not a fan of the 69 SuperBee as a gasser but you made it look good. Interesting plan for the Red Wagon, hope you can get more progress done on it. I do really like the look of the two SuperBees in the background tho'. Interesting Darth Vader impression with a slight southern accent. lol.
