40 years of BMW GS - the creation of an icon

"It took 20 minutes to design the BMW G/S 80 and 40 years to develop it," says the former BMW Motorrad designer, Hans A. Muth. In cooperation with the BMW enthusiast, Georg Martin from Schongau, a faithful replica of the original design reference model from 1978 is created on the basis of old drawings. A spontaneous idea becomes the most successful motorcycle category at BMW to this day.
