I told him I used to sit with my Dad watching him in any number of 60's detective series...He was in every one. I asked him if he had increased his income by 100x since those days and he just smiled and shook my hand.
The sperm bank scene where he's explaining the football injury is still my favorite part. The facial reactions from the nurse just cracks me up every time!
When Jane tells Frank she's a very lucky woman, his delivery of the response "So am I" is just freaking perfect! Leslie Nielsen had such a brilliant ability to deliver utterly nonsensical lines in a deadly serious and sincere fashion. Thanks for uploading these, really made me laugh!

yeah, watch the original Posiedon Adventure, he plays the captain of the ship, he goes down with the ship in the accident but all his dalog was serious I kept expecting some funny quip and never happens, every time i see the movie it's like that, expect something funny, never happens...great movie though....better than Titanic cus no forced romance story in there, just a small group of people who fight to survive....

I saw The Naked Gun when I was in law school. My buddies and I were studying for finals and we were totally stressed out. We decided to catch the 10:00 pm showing of the movie at our local theater. There were maybe ten people in the theater, total. We cracked up - the greatest stress reliever ever. We all aced our finals the next day. Great memories.

I watched all his stuff with my father... best times. I'd always watch his reactions and wait for him to laugh it made me laugh. @@2405jackoAirplane is still one of my favorites. By 25 years I meant I was about 10 when I first saw one of his movies and wrote that when I 35.
He did play in westerns and movies as a serious actor. But I know Frank Drebin was lurking not far away.
I met him at the state capital when I was 18. I was working there and was cussing this desk I was working on, turned around and he was standing right behind me laughing. I couldn’t believe it. He’s just like this in real life. Made me laugh and took a picture with me.
I seriously wonder how many times some of these scenes had to be redone because the actors couldn't hold laughing :)

I saw The Naked Gun when I was in law school. My buddies and I were studying for finals and we were totally stressed out. We decided to catch the 10:00 pm showing of the movie at our local theater. There were maybe ten people in the theater, total. We cracked up - the greatest stress reliever ever. We all aced our finals the next day. Great memories.

Me too, my dad took me to see it on my 16th birthday. I cried with laughter for the duration.
The scene where he was hanging on the outside of the building by a statue’s penis nearly killed me. I laughed so hard that I never thought I’d breathe again. I had to be within a second or two of passing out before I finally got control of myself 🤣

That umpire scene is still one of the best in comedy. I can't help but laugh no matter how many times I see it.

Frank Drebin often overlooked when people talk about great comedy caracter s.Leslie Nielson brings a certain quality wether it be in Naked Gun or Aeroplane .Some of the greatest comedy lines came out of these films.And they as funny now as they were then.

I watched all his stuff with my father... best times. I'd always watch his reactions and wait for him to laugh it made me laugh. I didn't really get most of the jokes and such but as I grew up I loved this stuff and always was interested in movies and shows that most children had no idea about haha thanks dad.
The world will never stop talking about this movie.
