- We Found A Garden Where We Least Expected | Spring Break 2024
This spring break we traveled to Florida, and we found an awesome gardener doing his work in the middle of a resort. He has a hydroponic garden, a raised bed garden, a container garden, and even a butterfly garden!
Once we saw the different gardens, we knew we had to share our experience with you. Peter, the gardener, was so kind and full of knowledge, and he really loved sharing his passion for gardening with us. He gave our gardeners in training strawberries from his hydroponic towers, and he told us all about what he is growing.
We loved his passion for gardening so much, that we wanted to give you all a look at his hard work. Maybe, for those of you with zone 5 gardening experience, this is some inspiration for what your gardens might look like in the next few months, and for those of you currently at this state in your gardens, we hope you enjoy a look at some wonderful crops.
Thank you so much for watching this gardening inspiration video!

My pawpaw grew sugar cane here in Texas just for us to eat fresh. I don't remember ever making syrup.
He grew all kinds of things for us to snack on while outside.
We used to beg nanny to make a blackberry cobbler and she would give us a bowl. She'd say if we could manage to fill it up without getting sick from the ones we'd eat, she would make us one.
She would also give us a small bowl each and when we brought it back full, she would wash them then pour cream and sugar on them.
Thank you so much for the walk down memory lane!
Mr. Peter is an awesome gardener!!
Awesome work, Peter!
And thanks for sharing this experience!🌿🌱
Hey hey from iowaaaaay! When I was a kid, we lived in New Orleans. We would go to the farmers market in the French quarter and my folks would get a little piece of sugar cane for my sister and me.. it had a little piece of tin foil rubber banded on to each end. We would walk around the quarter gnawing on that little piece of sugar cane. Thank you for the little trip back in time and sharing this phenomenal garden!!
Wow you're in my neck of the woods in South Florida Davie/ Hollywood area
This is awesome!! ❤
Can you say just where this resort is? I'm in Central Florida and I would love to see it.
This is the Westgate Resort in Kissimmee. I don't know how from from you that might be. :)
@@GutenGardening Thanks. That's only an hour away when traffic is right. Better plan on two since it involves I-4 ;-)
The traffic lights were a whole lot of "Hurry up and wait!" too. lol
@@GutenGardening Anywhere near Orlando is like that, especially this time of year. Hope the kids got to enjoy the attractions.
