Wow! I came here to say the exact same thing. He seems like a master manipulator and control freak. I pictured him as a cult leader telling everyone that he knows what everyone wants better than they know themselves.

The groom, Brian, in the second clip is not only controlling, but domineering, egotistical and mentally and emotionally abusive. I see him here playing mind games with her, making her doubt her own likes and dislikes, her choices about the dress (something that is traditionally chosen by the bride with no "help" from the groom). He is even now, at this relatively early stage of their relationship, worming his way into her psyche to undermine her self confidence, her perception of herself as a fully functional, independent individual as a separate person from him. I think his domination of her will continue until she has no more sense of herself as a thinking, feeling, intelligent individual in any way separate from her husband. This is an extremely dangerous and abusive relationship with no visible scars (although physical abuse could also occur) that will leave traumatic and heartbreaking scars which will be unbelievably difficult to heal.
Shahrezad, my heart goes out to you and I wish you the courage to see your groom's true nature before it is too late.

Dear Randy, Just before I went into the US Navy in 1981, I lived in an apartment next door to a male hairdresser who catered to female clientele. He was the best friend EVER. We shopped together and he styled my hair according to US Navy regs. We both moved on in our lives, and I have brother-sister memories of him. You are much like him. I wish you well.
