What I like about the way you present your videos is that you make it feel truly accessible and doable even if one's budget is not the biggest in the world. It feels as though you deconstruct your design process in such way that by the end of the video one always gets a new idea, a new piece of inspiration, a new kick to have one more tweak at home. Hi Sophie! have you thought about not having those books over the twin entry tables? maybe they are not necessary. Maybe you could replace them with antique boxes or something more practical. What I do sometimes so people don´t think I´m "staging" when I actually am, is to remove the book dust jackets... they are usually more neutral in colors, and by removing that layer it kinda takes away the idea of putting books just for display if it makes any sense.
Anyway, lovely home! It shows how much effort you put into details!
The stairs look beautiful, the before and after is quite a dramatic difference.

I'm an art and interior design lover and find my own inspiration normally I love eclectic style and our home is 16th century farmhouse so very different in style , beams etc, but listening to your design ideas was really thought provoking and interesting. In the video the color so varies from the foyer to under your stairs and by your double door entering the main part of the house. I love the color no matter what light it's in. Thank you.

Place a piece of glass onto the top sideboard as not to scratch it.

Okay. So everything is stunning, but I can't imagine living there. I got that same feeling when I was touring one of the Ford family mansions in Detroit. I tried to imagine children running through the halls or the family sitting at the table for dinner...but it just felt like a museum.
