  • Walking tour of Roosevelt Ave in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. Migrant Community & Red Light District.
Street vendors sell everything from clothing, jewelry, tools, electronics, food, and even Massages.
Multicultural Jackson Heights in Queens is home to Little India, a South Asian micro-neighborhood centered around a stretch of 74th Street. Indian restaurants serve traditional curries, while sari and Bollywood music shops offer up a slice of the subcontinent. Tibetan, Nepalese, and Latin American restaurants expand the culinary choices. Every summer, the district hosts the annual Queens Pride Parade and Festival. ― Google

It's good to see NYC bring back 1970s/80s
Very retro with the the crime, poverty and sense of desperation

I should say it was more European back then. The Koreans and Chinese came in around 1970. Many of the Europeans moved to the suburbs. Around the. 1990s many of the Asians also moved to the suburbs

Yes, there are many migrant hotel videos on CZcams. The reason Roosevelt Avenue became very popular, was because of all the ladies standing outside of the the illegal massage parlors, but after the police raided several of them, it’s been more quiet with the ladies, and more popular with the migrants hustling as vendors on the street. Roosevelt Avenue is a very interesting place. Each time I’m there, I feel like I’m in a different country ✌️thanks for watching 🙏

Prostitution should be legalized in most of the world. It is legal, they could take taxes and many and if they legalized marijuana, I don't see the reason why they don't want to legalize prostitution. There are so many single men who need to be with a girl.

Businesses going out of business in NYC will go because of online sales or too much theft before being put out of business by vendors. Every restaurant and store along Roosevelt is doing just fine, trust me. The foot traffic is incredible. NYC from start to finish was all about street vendors. Never was a real issue. NYC has real issues, it's called crime, and that crime is coming from the same people who have been doing it.@@jameslawless9819

You've never worked retail in NYC my guy..........these people don't have EBT cards. Mexicans and these immigrants pay cash for their food. The only people who come in and use EBT cards to buy their cereal/candy/ice-cream or sell them to the habbibis at the corner store are the same people who have been on that and section 8 for decades. Native NYC blacks and Puerto ricans. That's the matter of fact.@@skorpio88
