Interesting to see once you cross 74th St, you stop hearing Spanish (Mexican, Colombian, Ecuadorian, etc) and start hearing Hindi, Bengali, Tibetan, Tagalog, etc. Roosevelt Ave really shows how diverse NYC is. Very few neighborhoods in the US will show you this kind of diversity in only a few blocks.

Roosevelt Ave is indeed diverse, but it depends on the stretch. Hispanics pretty much dominate the stretch of Roosevelt Ave east of 74th st and west of Grand Central. Around 74th st and Broadway and going west is when it starts becoming mixed with Asian (South Asian, Filipino, Tibetan). Going east of Roosevelt Ave towards Main St, the Chinese dominate with some Koreans the further east you go (which by then, Roosevelt starts becoming more quieter and residential).

Jackson Heights, Queens, NY is a Minority Town for Asian Indian & Hispanic people.
There are whites in Jackson Heights, lol. Though they're mostly either transplant whites (from Manhattan or whites from out of town) or old school Irish. But yeah, Jackson Heights is mostly Hispanic and South Asian. Whites are mostly in the historic district.

At least on Roosevelt Ave, the majority of Chinese are in the Flushing section of Roosevelt (Chinatown). Others i've seen are on Woodside and some on Elmhurst (I'm referring to regular working Chinese and those with families, not the bimbo ones like above).
Other Asians in Roosevelt are Filipinos (mostly on Woodside section) and South Asians (Woodside and Jackson Heights around 74th st/Broadway intersection). There are also some Koreans, but the majority of them are around Union St in Flushing and east of Union St (which by then, Roosevelt Ave becomes more residential and quieter), some I've seen in Woodside though.

@@NYBestDJ It's just not fair to other businesses who comply and follow the rules. Illegal vendors shouldn't be allowed on city sidewalks. Why not have a swap meet area on open lots where they obtain a paid permit. But not in front of people who pay a lease, insurance, taxes and work their tails off to make ends meet.
@@riptheripper9060 I saw on the news last night. The city is going to start cracking down on illegal vendors. Not sure if they will clean up Roosevelt Avenue. I know they did it in Washington Heights during the summer.
@@NYBestDJ Brooklyn Bridge pedestrian walkway being cleared of all vendors. Why did it take so long? These vendors want something for nothing. Mayor Adams and City Council finally got the message from fed up legitimate business owners and citizens.
