So guys are you saying the BluRay hasn’t been corrected to look better than previous releases it’s just the 4K that looks better than previous versions?
@@dragons4everpod The 4K and the Blu-Ray from 88 Films. The Blu-Ray from 88 has the same color timing as the 4K without the benefits of HDR of course.

There is no need to compare it with the 88 Films Blu-Ray to their 4K. Is the same color grade as the 4K. The only difference is the HDR that gives the picture an overall pop.
ah, that makes sense. I'm sticking with the DD blu, its enough of an upgrade from the DVD for me, plus I'm region A so I wont be restricted to the region free player. Keep up the good work.
@daikaijureview6001 No problem with that. Like Peter mentioned it has the same extras as the DD Blu-Ray. I’m keeping that disc just for the grindhouse feeling of the beat up image.
I compared the Blu Ray (88 films ) to my Chinese steelbook edition, and I found out that the steel-book is superior.
the Chinese ver has a far better viewing experience !

Is the same transfer as the DD/RoninFlix disc. You see the same print damage as well.

It has the same opening as the 88 films version

So does the laserdisc. This is a new transfer that was done not too long ago. That Chinese Blu-Ray is an old master.
