What is Man of the Match?

Man of the Match is a football video game for both consoles and PC. đźđ„ïžâœ
It is free to play (No microtransactions!) , play to earn (Not NFT!), and built for the community and by the community.
In Man of the Match (MOTM), you can choose to play two main roles:
You can choose to play as a playerđ, and you can choose to play as a managerđšâđŒ.
With state-of-the-art image capture technology, we will be able, by your personal mobile device, to scan your face, capture every detail, every wrinkle, and embed it into the game, giving you your very own, personal avatar, so you can manifest yourself in the game.
As a player, you and your new avatar will need to make the best choices for your football career, alongside your teammates, who will also have their own realistic avatars

So glad to know that there are developers still brave enough to compete against EA and FIFA, I wish goodluck to all the devs! Edit: I know that EA is the leader of football games but it is nice to know that I will have something to play on a day that I donât want to play fifa as well as we want something new and fresh like new features and new game modes. Unless ea adds more cool features and game modes I feel like this games community will start to grow

When it coming
I just want a football game that had fun gameplay, great ball psyics, good AI and isn't made around an Ultimate Team experience. We haven't had a good offline focused football game in over 10 years.
From the description it doesnât seem this will be online focused, they mention it is 11v11 multiplayer.
I really hope to see this take off đđŒ. Now is the time to compete in the football gaming market. I'll be keeping a close eye on the progress made here. You can be the future.

Fifa and EA have not partied waysâŠ. EA still has all the licences for the club teamsâŠ
EA is still making football games, it just won't be called FIFA. But they have the licenses for all the teams so its basically still FIFA

I'm loving the look of this, but I want to suggest some things:
- Please don't go the EA route and make it pay to win, some micro transactions are fine but don't make TOO prevalent
- Something like a story would make it really interesting, modelled like the journey in fifa
- Please, if you're going to go with the face scan idea, make it high quality and that it looks realistic
So excited and i hope you guys manage to make a fantastic game, I'll be getting it no matter what and giving it a go!

If you guys read this, in the future try to make it possible for top players to create their own football clubs where they can buy any players for certain amount (eg me or anyone online)... And then when there's online tournament anyone from that football club can play and earn in game currency to be use to improve that club infrastructures and such.

As a Football Fan Iâd Like To See a Career Mode where a Player actually Has a Story and Has some storyline that Interacts with the Player and He Can Grow Into. Like There are Millions of Footballers Who Can Share Their Experience or We Can Copy a Legend and Present His Life/Story As a Career. And the Gamer actually Hopes To See how it feels to be a footballer.
*I know it's a teaser, but looking at this, this seems like it's really early into the making the game, or you might've only made this teaser by now. It gave me alot of questions.*
* Is it a point/click game just like Football Manager?
* Is it a football simulator like fifa/pes?
* What are the biggest differences compared to other football game titles? (What makes you unique :D)
* How important is the backing on Kickstarter, and in what way would Kickstarter help you?
* Is it a fantasy football game? (because of the copyright of all the teams/leagues)
* Do you show us the progress throughout the making of the videogame? That would be a great way to show your donators/funders how things are looking.
* I love the idea of a new name competing against EA and Konami. What's your main reason of developing a new football game?

Can you please make some random events which would rarely happen in the pitch like dogs, cats or bees interrumpting the match or a fan trying to get clĂłse to it's favourite player? Also Made some unique celebrations and songs that the fans can make like what the Dortmund fans do previous to the matchs that would surely make this game unique and diferentes from FIFA or PES.
This looks so awesome, I cannot wait for this to release! One question I do have is will a face-scan be required for character creation, or will you also give a standardized customization tool to build your character from scratch? Asking from a woman's POV since I'm guessing your character models will be only male presumingly.
You can choose self generated players without scanning your face, of course!
I like the concept of the game, but can't help but think this will be like all other scam Kickstarter projects. You say the right things in the trailers, "free to play" and "built for the community, by the community" and you align your ideas as a studio with every boys ambitious dream of a football game to get everyone on board and to blindly donate to your Kickstarter, despite there being no evidence of a game actually existing except from some animated cutscenes that don't reflect gameplay. All I would say to people who are watching this is, be careful in what you invest in, this game could turn out to be the next brilliant football game or it could very well crash and burn with the creators running away with the money like other similar indie Kickstarter projects out there.
True, many projects on Kickstarter went terribly wrong, but many other were an amazing success!

Man of the Match, GOALS and UFL are games I'm looking forward to play and hope to compete with the three powerhouses, FIFA, EA FC and efootball. If everything goes well, we as consumers will get so many football games to play and enjoy, not just two. This is promising.

1. Make all players same overall so its skilled based and not pay to win.
2. get real world sponsors on board to fund the teams in the game at lower advertisement cost. this will help teams pay players and transfer best players.
3. scouts should have access to stats and data of all players on the game e.g who has best pass accuracy, most headers, tackles ect.
4. Team players can vote a manager to be sacked if under performing
5. salaries are based on sponsorships and revenue received from amount of spectators who can pay to watch (maybe this idea wount work) lol empty stadium for trash teams and full stadium for good teams
