- I've always LOVED this theme, and the idea of covering it had been on my mind for a long time, so finding out out Nier Automata was gonna be released for Nintendo Switch was just the right push for me to actually try doing it!
The transcription was among the hardest I've done, but NOREGRETS.

The way this sounds so similar to the in-game version is legitimately awe-inducing
I wasn't sure what to expect with just strings, but the fact you managed to recreate most of the synthesized sounds like this is impressive as hell!
Thank you! I spent a looong time trying to recreate the other instrument sounds with just violin, viola and cello, but somehow it worked!

Alien Manifestation - это невероятно красивая и атмосферная тема. В самой игре она создаёт удивительную атмосферу, но и в отрыве её слушать одно удовольствие. Струнные инструменты звучат всегда очень эмоционально и живо, а в этой песне и в особенности в этом кавере это достигло ещё больших масштабов. Спасибо огромное автору за этот кавер, он заслуживает куда большего количества просмотров. Сейчас я начал учиться играть на альте, а в будущем планирую научиться и на скрипке и виолончели, мечтаю однажды так же сделать каверы на треки из саундтрека NieR.

Я сам фанат серии Nier, имею музыкальное образование по скрипке. И музыка из этой игры доставляет одновременно бесконечную тоску и радость. А больше всего нравится в этой музыке вслушиваться в детали. И здесь вы их потрясающе передали!

This happens to be my favourite piece from the OST too! This is such an amazing job of a cover! - The layered complexity using only string instruments plus a guitar, the substitution of the (what I believe is ) glockenspiel with pizzicato, not to mention arranging the song for thing kind of an ensemble. Super impressive for one man in a blindfold!

Thank you! I actually thought of all sorts of things to recreate the sound, like maybe using cups filled with water hahah, but I decided to just do it pizzicato in the end. Glad it worked out!

Thank you! It took a LOT of work to balance everything. Since it's all strings it can be really tricky to have certain parts stand out and not get washed out in the sea of strings!
@@ManuelJBD I can definitely noticed that man! For me the most impressive part is at 2:40 it's just amazing how the mix makes the violins kinda sound like an Organ
