I mean, as an actual feature is ok and nice, but as implementation to other daily life situations it will be annoying to deal with, we will have to see how the new phone developers will do, since some times they dont listen to their customers and go and copy what customers say that apple is doing wrong and making their phones even worse

@@shadow3oni this would have been a problem with android since there are a multitude number of phone screen designs they have to adjust their softwares for. Many androids have failed to implement their new features simply because developers cannot largely or entirely alter their android coding for just 1 type of phone in over 10000 types. For ios this problem doesnt exist.

It is cool cause if you don’t want to answer the phone you can just continue doing what you want, on the other hand though when you actually want to answer the phone it is harder to reach and in some cases it might be harder to hit the right button

I’ve had this device for 2 days and I’m upgrading from the 12 pro max, which IMHO had some serious glitches. So for me, it’s been insanely fast very smooth and one thing I can agree on, the pill “cutout” while watching media is distracting: I almost wish they could engage the pixels between the 2 cutouts so it would be less distracting. @@evilstreamerBut there’s nothing in the UI that’s close enough to the notch for that to even happen. How often do you accidentally touch the notch by mistake on an iPhone 13 or older? Probably not often.
Androids can fix that problem, dynamic spot can use 2 notifications/actions at once, and it has more customize options For iPhone it just ignores the timer lol
Btw if you’re using Apple maps on the top left it will have an arrow to show which way to turn. While the right side displays how many miles the upcoming turn is away from you. Only on Apple Maps currently offers this feature.

What I never understood is why apple didn’t do this but with the notch. You could literally do all this from the very beginning and it would have taken away from the notch and added to it just like Dynamic Island did but with banner notifications like they normally are.

In the phone app settings, you can switch between banner and full screen depending on your preference
Just use your other hand or grab it by the top
