78" high? They seriously jump that high?

Just today, my dog startled a young doe. She ran up my hill, across the street, down my neighbors yard, across another street and cleared a 6' (72") chain link gate, with decorative metal ruffles on top, like it wasn't even there.
I'm sure she could have gone even higher easily. How high can they jump? Who knows? Yet, when they don't see even a normal height fence, they hit it, damage it and get stuck in it often. Sometimes fatally. It's hard to imagine a fence that will cover everything except for maybe a Jurassic Park fence!
