My Dad's Australian Kelpie loved to sunbathe....he preferred laying in the sun and panting versus laying down in the shade any day ☀️

Gossip is hilarious. Locking the car doors and stinking it out!

Oh yes!! Love your ideas for the property. It is wonderful to see so many young ones on stations working hard to regenerate the properties. Your babies are wonderful - bought myself your book as a Christmas present!

A girfriend once bought a beautiful Kelpie from a pet shop..my family used to breed & show dogs, so I warned her against owning a working dog in the suburbs...'I couldn't help it' she said, the little doggy was just so cute.. The girlfriend lived in a townhouse with a tiny yard. It took 2 months for the dog to take charge and dominate her. She moved, it barked. I should have learnt my lesson, her two teens controlled her too. I talked her into taking the Kelpie to a working farm & giving them $500 to cover her growth. Sadly, she wouldn't do the same with her teens.

I have a Kelpie and not a large station. It's not impossible, walks daily, can do obedience classes, can do working dog classes. We'll do working dog classes most likely. There are options. Lot's of farms keep dogs in kennels for months and months when not working. It's not always better.
