At the end of the day kyrie is a winner and proved himself on the highest level with a MVP level performance in a one of a kind 1-3 comeback in the finals. Kyrie also played with LeBron and won so he’s the perfect fit for being Luka’s right hand man with how ball dominant he is. Luka and ky will be champions this year and I can’t wait.
Edit: the true narrative if they win is these two love playing the game together and found a way to make it work despite all of the doubt. Nothing more nothing less. We are witnessing amazing basketball in the playoffs this year. Basketball ain't been this exciting since the super team era started and true basketball fans are loving it.

Dallas got destroyed by the warriors, cuz Dallas was undersized, for God's sake, Dwight powell was still playing a Loot of minutes at the 5, alongside maxi kleber....and Tim Hardaway Jr was still playing 20+ minutes a game... fast foward 2024 playoffs, powell has a bunch of "DNP's"... Tim brickaway is on the doghouse, cause whenever he plays it is bone headed plays one after another, and shooting forced 3pt bricks(he did have just 1 good game vs okc this year), and Kleber had 2 good games vs the clippers, before he got injured, but playing most of his minutes at the power foward position, where he should had been playing originally...
now that mavericks have 2 legit centers in lively and gafford, 2 good wing defenders in pj Washington and DJJ, Dallas can compete at this level vs other good teams with big dudes and good defenders. So luka and kai can cook, but even they have stepped up on the defensive side.
