In Part 9 of our Road to World Time Attack Challenge 2023 special series of Motive Garage, presented by Sparesbox, it is the first day of competition. JET200 went WAY faster than we ever anticipated, so, we moved the goal posts and went on the hunt to go sub 1:30s at Sydney Motorsport Park.

To put it into perspective this would have beaten the lyfe motorsport gtr in 2019 on the same tyre, a class and about 500hp down.
I almost completely forgot this car was a stock, non-sleeved, block 😂 the Nissan gods gaze upon you and this car mercifully Andrew ❤

We wish it had traction control. That is the crossover with the VE head 👍
Glad you liked it. We might add traction control and Motorsport ABS next year. We had a part throttle issue with the VVL and boost all wanting to hit at once on part throttle. Chasing it all weekend.
@@MotiveVideocurious what compression ratio is on this SR20 ? Also what type of ARP studs were u using? I would that thought 40 psi is easy for this build
And there’s me thinking the noise was the traction control kicking in lol. Even more impressive how fast it went when that was purely the driver keeping it in check then!

That was a great weekend for you! Have you thought about working with traction control like other high power TA cars? Seems like there could be a potential bunch of time there, even though it will take time to make it working well.
What was the purpose of the orange and green paint? Looks like aero testing but I might be wrong.

S14 trying it's hardest to be a drift car
was gonna say the car looked like it lacked alot of DF after those Friday runs, then i see KYLE ENGINEERS, that man knows his aero. Could go deep into the 20s if you let him have a crack at JET200 for next year.
It does lack downforce compared to cars ahead of it but is what it is on our budget.
