I like to believe Margaret was intentionally left shallow. she's also red, which is the opposite of blue, so to me, that alone was a sign they were not meant to be, or she was just underdeveloped and red.

Also margaret is dating multiple guys and she keeps breaking up with them meaning she is a walking red flag which is her color red. Also mordecai could never truly be himself around her which shows that they wouldnt be a good match at all.

I forgot how much of seasons 4-7 I actually saw. The first few seasons hold a pretty firm place in my mind, but prior to watching this video I would have guessed that I hadn’t seen much of the later seasons. Turns out, I have. I think it kind of speaks to my interest in the show after the first three seasons.
Regular was a big part of every south african child's childhood basically everyone watched and loves it and I'm sure it's thus way worldwide too. It's so impactful till this we speak about it and it kind of formed our personal humour😂
Haven't watched the show in years and youtube just decided to recommend me this gem of a video. Its just something about the retro-culture infused throughout the series that makes it incredibly special. The music in the series has inspired me in so many ways and is why I have such a love for listening and creating synthesizer/electronic music. I remember me and my friend back in 2013 (I was only 8 at the time) used to call each other after a new episode aired and talk about it while playing some roblox or something on our family computers. Being at the age of 19 now the show just becomes more relatable.
This was a really good video and the holy algorithm blessed me with it, I’ve got a feeling these long form videos will be popular for you:)

Most shows would be perfectly fine without romance plots. Just over complicates things, so many movies and shows would be better without it. I mean look at movies like John Wick, the big lebowski, Brave, shawshank Redemption, the hateful eight, besides the beginning UP, silence of the lambs, moana lol
@@jeffsorrows You are addressing long length movies, not seasonal TV shows. For seasonal shows, they need some kind of romance for the audience to talk about. But you can substitute romance with killing plot instead like Breaking Bad. You know, instead of theorizing who will end up with each other, you let the audience theorize who would be dead first lol.
Overall, I don't think most TV shows can be fine without romance plots. Even in Breaking Bad, there are few plots involved about loved ones. You still need to plan ahead and decide how each plot can go in long term. The thing about Regular Show is that it runs on short term what-if plot. It isn't suitable for long term romance plot.

Looking back on this show at the age of 23 it’s so relatable
The show meant a lot to me because it taught me numerous lessons about what’s life like after high school and what you might go through in your early 20s.

idk if you care about feedback, but just in case you do, the video is really good. the editing and voice over is good, but the same like 8 frames that you drew that you put over the episodes a lot kinda take away from the whole video. idk if it’s just me and my opinion doesn’t matter, but i think that when you don’t show those frames it looks higher quality than when you do. anyway, great video and love to see another current regular show fan lol.
I mainly use those one because they can get my opinion across better but also I use them sometimes cuz I’m trying to avoid a copyright strike
I’m working on having way more poses instead of the same few bases with new faces (also gonna be added a few scenes of animation in the future inspired by CZcamsrs such as Noodle
@@amreldtheartist Yeah animation is really time consuming and I understand the copyright aspect. I think it would add a lot to the videos with some more frames and maybe occasionally an animation so it’s not too time consuming lol.
Yes Regular Show is a masterpiece. It's one of Cartoon Network's top 2 best shows (other one is Adventure Time). Btw, Regular Show continuation is in the works

I would also say Mordecai and Rigby quite often take actions that cause the problem for the episode but I wouldn't say it's always their fault under those circumstances. For example in the second episode where they set up the chairs, they goof off and find some arcade cabinets, most of which are fine but one of which says danger do not play on it. Sure there are warnings but it doesn't say warning DEMON sealed inside.

Hot take: I actually think Regular Show got better as it went on. The Mordecai love triangle plot isn't nearly as bad as everyone says it is. The comedy was still strong. Plots for episodes were still creative, sometimes even more. I genuinely don't understand why people think the show got bad.
The plot with Margaret And Mordecai is hollow because Margaret has little to no character traits
There is no given reason for why Mordecai likes her beyond her being attractive
Like that is legitimately the only reason

CJ is while much more clearly shown to have…a character is also…well annoying
She white literally agrees to just be friends with Mordecai

For Margaret, I think it's funny that she is the only normal and mundane character in the show. She doesn't have any special power like turning into storm like CJ or just straight up rampaging everything when angry like Starla. Personality wise, she lacks a lot. She isn't bombastic and rad like CJ, nor being awkward book smart like Eileen. Don't get me wrong, she can be badass and smart at a time... but only when the plot requires her to do so. I don't mind if Margaret being a blank secondary character, like High five ghost. If you think about it, High five ghosts equally bland like Margaret but the thing is he is somewhat likeable. He is the most neutral in the park gang and joins many adventures. The writer tried to make Margaret the attention but they underestimated the audience and made her... uninteresting and 1 dimensional.
For the show in general, I enjoy it. Regular Show does have a lots of problems and I do wish I could change a lot of things in it. But it is still a jolly good show. Regular Show at its best is when you come to it without expecting anything. You never know how strange or bizarre it could get. The love triangle is skippable but still a guilty pleasure if you like love drama in any show. I only wish I could see more of Cloudy... or umm CJ. I really love her full name. It fits her a lot. I even took her name and appearance as my own identity. I drew my own profile pic because I was that obsessed of her xD
If there ever be Regular Show 2... or a better sequel name because the show goes really hard on meta joke. I hope it could bridge the time between everyone at the park landing on Earth and 25 years later. I want to see Mordecai grow and move on. I want to see how the park goes on with their life without Pops. And I think there are many Regular Show fans like me who crave more Regular Show with continuation and more relatability. Just do whatever season 7 was doing. The writing on season 7 was perfect for both people who like the chaotic nature of RS and people like me, who enjoy the character growth. I know JG Quintel moved on as well so another creature under his watch would be a good alternative for this hypothetical proposal.
Well first of all there IS a regular show sequel called “25 years later” it’s a comic run so if you want a sequel there ya go! (: (unless you already knew lol)

i’m pretty sure this show does not take place in the 90s. The characters have cell phones that are like ones we use today
The flip phone (which is the only kind of phone we see early on) was invented in 1996 much later we do see what seem to be modern smartphones
