I wonder how well does chaff distrupt radar lock and can it distrupt heatseeking and laser ???
no, the chaf just distrupt the radar signals, to interrupt the heatseeking you need flare and the laser are just smoke grenades(in warthunder)
So many AA, so annoying to CAS sometimes...
Anti air is just stupid legit brain dead noobs play it
almost like its supposed to be a ground battle
it is certainly way more difficult to CAS 10.3 or above, aside from a couple of planes (AMX, SU25SM3 etc). Much more balanced than the lower tier in my opinion.
Depends in what you are flying. Countering SPAA isn’t too difficult in planes like the MiG-29SMT, F-16C, Gripen, Su-25SM3.
It’s even easier with 11.3+ helicopters.

Yes if u put on chaff with

not really Stingers are still bad but sometimes they're are useful to have and your RWR tells you if there's some AA shooting at you
you can vary and use or not the stinger depending on the teams that bring out more planes, but personally I prefer the MAW, in USA the AH-64D is the worst apache in the game, if you don't equip the MAW.
they can shoot a missile from a pansirt or any SPAA and helis etc, and not realize and die without knowing that step.... because the RWR does not warn you, I prefer to hide from the planes or try to kill them with the 30mm to carry the stinger (I consider them a garbage that do nothing).
in the pache UK and Israel you can equip the ATAS, with the MAW, but in the USA you can't :C
Depending on you. If you have situations when you need stingers, then you should take at least 2. If you fine and enemy aircraft is not problem, then you can just use MAW kit. Do whatever fits your gameplay
