  • Lamy, New Mexico is a station stop on Amtrak's Southwest Chief route, once home to the Santa Fe's own Chief passenger trains. Vestiges of the old Santa Fe remain at Lamy depot as Harvey the depot cat holds court--a Day at Lamy with the Southwest Chief. Filmed by Paul Swanson and John Ryan, edited by John Ryan.

Very hip, creative, and classy. Brings a jazzy urban jive to this scenic southwest jewel. Loved it from beginning to end and can't wait to see more. Well done!

Awesome production . Love the it and I love Harvey. Great music. Wish I did not live so far as I am in NC or I would come and give the kitty some lovin'. Tks for sharing.

Some cats have all the fun...and adventure! Outstanding video work and the drone shots are breathtaking. Hope Harvey gets to go to Raton and catch some of that city’s namesake 😼

Love this video. I met Harvey myself the summer of 2018.

That's one lucky cat to live at Amtrak's most lovingly-restored train station! Lamy rocks!

Looks like the abandon car even made the video. Haha!
