Climbing the Petit Dru, Chamonix Mt Blanc

Daniel Joll and Gabriel Mazur climb the south face of the Petit Dru one of classic alpine peaks of Chamonix. Usually the south face is done as a rock climb but large amounts of recent snow covered most of the route in snow and ice making the ascent feel more like a winters climb. The team climbed the route in July.

Great vid. Funny how some faces and some mountains can look like they aren't a big deal in one view then look massive and frightening from another view!
