The suspect turns out to be a victim and she tells Olinsky (Elias Koteas) that she was held hostage for months and her kidnapper attempted to psychologically manipulate her into forgetting her identity while he physically abused her. The team sets out to find the woman's abductor before he can harm anyone else. Meanwhile, tensions are high at the station when Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger) accuses Roman (Brian Geraghty) of having feelings for Burgess.

While I do agree that the show isn't realistic based on how the police behave, a lot of their episodes are based off of true events. Same with Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med.

The girl who was kidnapped was a mother who couldn’t feel pain + had Crohn’s Disease on med! Insanely good actress, props to her.
Yeah I remember her. She brought her baby who unknowingly also had crohns but her baby could feel pain unlike her. Very nice episode

For those who wanna know what happened after:
Drew was arrested for kidnapping an murder, Alvin then points a gun at his face and Drew cries and pleads for his life as Alvin looks like he's about to kill him, he then taunts Drew over how it felt for those girls he held hostage and pled for their lives.
Ruby talks with Alvin and she says she's decided to keep her baby, to give them a good life and have a good outcome on her negative experience, in comfort, Alvin gives her his necklace with a bullet on it that he wore when he discovered he's wife was pregnant and he tells her it's for strength, she thanks him and tells him he reminds her of her dad.
Madison AKA Jamie, talks with Dr Charles and expresses how she has her life back, and can now go and live her life without Drew in it and make a fresh start.

After finding out in the comments that Jamie actually turned out to be another one of that dude's abducted victims, Ruby's gaze at her when they were trying to make her remember her real name made a lot more sense now. It seems like Ruby had a small realization that Maddison, or Jamie, is actually a victim like her and not just an oblivious wife who wanted to deny the truth.
Voight is like the police version of House: does whatever he wants with his job thanks to his plot armor and we love him for it.

It skipped ahead a bit, but yes, 'Maddison' was a girl he kidnapped when she was young... I think? Never watched it myself. We can assume he conditioned her to think her name was Maddison and that she was his wife and she needed him.

I watched a weird sorority movie. They accidentally killed a girl and left for 3 days, thinking she would wake up. After 3 days, they decided to bury the body on the mountain. Covered the body with some blankets i think. The next day girl revived and taunt them. Thought its a ghost but no. The 3 days unconscious was the girl in coma, and then when she was buried she woked up. Surrounded with worms, girl determined to haunt and torture them. Funnily, girl also thought shes already a ghost but no. Police came and girl sent to hospital. It was a shitty cheap movie plot with stupid plot twists and sorority revenge.
the first thing you're supposed to do when coming on scene is to make sure the victim is actually dead. wouldn't you feel dumb if you operated under the assumption the victim was dead only to learn later they died while you were putting up police tape.
