around 1980, Captain Beaky was my Sunday timeline. I'm ex-Navy, and I'd listen to Noel Edmonds in my Plymouth flat on Sunday morning. Once Beaky had finished and I'd stopped cheering on the band, it was time to to get ready for the lunchtime session! Hissing Sid was a trainee terrorist!
So glad I found this!! I loved it as a kid, and nobody ever knew what I was talking about when I tried to describe it - honestly thought it was just a fever dream at one point :)
