  • Just have a request for some advice on some rooms in my house. If you have any question, or suggestions/ideas, please let me know in the comments, or reach out to me in an email, or on any of my social platforms.
And as I mentioned in the video, here are the measurements of those rooms.
Boys room is 10'6" x 11'6" (Not including the closet, or door/entryway.
And girls room is 11'6" x 13" (not including closet).
And at the moment, all of my kids have a twin mattress/bed, and I have the queen mattress. So that is 3 twin mattress/bed,, and 1 queen mattress (no Queen frame, headboard or footboard). But I would love to give my Queen mattress to Christian, and get or make him a Queen bed with storage. But in order to fit the queen, I would need to get Micah a full or a twin loft bed with build in desk or bookshelf, that's weight limit is over 300 lbs. And to give Amanda a place to do school work, and some privacy, by adding a curtain to a twin loft bed with storage and either a built-in, or separate desk.
Then I would get Christian's twin mattress, and Amanda's current twin bed and dresser, and get rid of mine.
But if anyone has any other suggestions, please let me know asap.
    Thanks a bunch,
    & God Bless!
To learn more about my cancer history, please continue to read.
Back in 2010 I had been diagnosed with stage 3b ER/PR positive, HER2 neg Breast cancer in my left breast. I had Chemo, Bilat Mastectomy, with expanders then implants place, Radiation therapy, and hormonal therapy plus Bilat, oopherectomy. After 2 1/2 yrs of treatment, I went 5 yrs with no KNOWN, sign of Cancer.

However, in 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare terminal melanoma. with no skin involvement. After chemo failed, a combo immunotherapy treatment every other week, kept me stable till this April 2018. I discovered a new chest wall tumor, plus a few other tumors. They said that my Breast Cancer had mutated, and returned as Metastatic (terminal) TN Breast cancer. Although my doctor insists that it is a totally different Breast Cancer from the first. Oral chemo failed. And I did Radiation for pain. My last Radiation was on Monday 11/19/18.Tried and failed at about 5 chemo's and was on hospice from Feb 14, 2021 to end of April when a new chemo was approved for MTNBC. Been on since. It's been really hard, but working. Thank God!

I think first you have to have a really good clear out.... what about a garage sale. Then just swap rooms. Put the boys in the other room. Sort out a desk and put it in the dining room. Good luck , it’s a lot of work, do you have someone to help. Thought you had moved house recently!

I had a similar situation having 3 daughters. This is going to sound terrible, but my youngest got my walk-in closet as a bedroom. We hung a curtain on a suspension rod for privacy and she stayed in there until we could move to a bigger place.

Not horrible at all. You do what you can! That's what a good Mom does, you want your daughters to have their own space, somewhere they can be alone, a little safe haven no matter how big or small until you are able move to a bigger place, you were able to make that happen by turning your walk in closet into a room for her. My parents did that for my twin sister and I when we were younger and although small some of my best memories were in that little closet room, it was just mine and made me appreciate having a space of my own that I didn't have to share!

Good thinking with storing "up"-- that is a massive space saver. Can you and your daugher share the boys' room? That way, two twin XL/full beds can fit on either end, with desks underneath as you showed in pics. Or another option is you in the boys' room and maybe your daughter can make the living room into her own space? Just thoughts!

There are bunk beds and sheets made for college students that are extra long and perfect for adult size/young men but are still bunk beds and sturdy- in all college dorms - would work for your kids in that space. Can anyone out that neck of the woods reach out to local colleges/charities/Churches/Check cregs list etc to get this lady set up? I'm in maryland. If anyone has leads to someone who can make this happen please reach out - I will help in any way I can.

Try facebook. There should be a "blank" free site/group. Insert your town in the blank. We have it in our town and tons of people giving away free stuff. And when you want to give you can post. Church?
