It is important to know how to rig up your decoys so that you have a realistic looking spread. Josh from ‪@OutdoorLimits‬ talks about our coated cable rigs and how he likes to use them on his decoys.

Appreciate the tips, first year running decoys and was looking at my spread thinking....hmm....they look sort of real aside from they're all facing the exact same direction. Appreciate this more than you know.

Im a cheapskate. I just plasti dipped my weights. I prefer the sling sinker texas rig as opposed to the sliding decoy texas rig. If you use a solo canoe like me, i pull up to my decoys, clip my loop into my carabiner, then the weight slides to the decoy and doesnt drag through the weeds making more wet work de-weeding.

I hate how the weight is attached to the able, that little loop and crimp tangles. Also even after a decade I haven’t had noticeable wear from Texas rig weights, and I hit 3-4 days a week.
