Wonderful work. Very clean. Sinabroks hole stitching punches are the best! I am a big fan of the 1.2 mm @ 5mm. They work great with 1mm Ritza 25 thread. Easy to get the needles and thread through the holes. My go to for stitching!

I agree, they make stitching a breeze. I use 1.5mm at 6mm spacing and .35 Maine thread.

What material did you use for the pattern template? Looks like a thicker piece of paper that I’d love to try!

Nice work! What are the burnishing products you use? Also interesting stitch...not the traditional saddle stitch? Just a thought/suggestion but maybe skiv down the inside edges so the quad layer doesn't come out as thick!
Thanks! Water was applied with a dauber then used tokenole and a piece of old canvas. Not a bad idea, would definitely help thin it out!

What thickness of leather do you use?
For something like this, I use firm temper 3/4 oz veg tan.
