Made out of Special type Chèvre & HCP Alligator leather
All the leathers used and the way of making this luxurious leatherwork is the same as the French luxury leather brands.
No cheap fabrics were used and no bare flesh sides have remained on the backside. All of the parts are fully leather-lined and it is not an easy process to achieve a slim & linear thickness between several layers of leather. This is one of the reasons that French luxury leather goods are expensive.

Fine artisanal craftsmanship! I also create various items by hand using Leather. Haven't worked with any exotics yet. Your Alligator Wallet turned out quite gorgeous. It is fascinating to watch how other Leather Crafters create a high-quality bespoke item. I enjoy seeing what types of knives others use, edging tools, how each Leather Crafter chooses that certain area of perfection on the skin being used to make the item... it's always done by looking as well as feeling the Leather in order to find the area which will be perfect for the piece to be crafted from. Great job. I have saw only one better wallet on youtube, than this. But it was made 1 month for 5k dollars. But this is Number 2 BEST I have seen in 3+ years.

Seeing the master at work is always a privilege.
I recently came into possession of some alligator skin and I'm saving it for when my skills get pretty consistent, as such material is a "pass or fail" attempt. Something I'm sure you learned a long time ago when you were a beginner. I also got a heat creasing tool like what you use for edge pressing and acrylic manipulation. It has made my work look better and the edges cleaner. However, I'm still struggling with the proper temperatures. But that's just a bunch of trial and error practice.
I'm also amazed at the type/quality of leather you use for the inside. Thin to the point of almost paper, especially after skiving it, allowing you to double layer without it becoming a giant brick. I really wish I knew where you got it as I can't find anything remotely close to that quality.

I've been searching and contacting several contractors and distributors who handle that kind of hides from the H suppliers and H-owned tanneries.
And always have a shortage of quality leather in the exact colors we want even after the efforts.
But we've been trying to get some of them in the greatest conditions so far picking a couple of hides only... from the pile of leathers...
Every time, still this is the trial and error for the business but we keep trying.
This is the result of that kind of effort every time I make the bespoke goods.
I think you can also achieve something if you keep trying like that, as I did for several years back there and even now.

Hm.. we're keeping that as a little secret but, some of our subs already found it by some clues we've shown before.
Anyways, that is not a more practical tool than it looks when it comes to sanding.
If there is any kind of sanding zig suitable for the works, I would use the zig instead of this.

This is about as good as a wallet can be in my opinion, I can't think of anything better. A little too many golden letters maybe but otherwise perfect.

@rSANGBLEU I think in terms of marketing people would be even more interested in your work if your branding was Korean instead of French. There's just too many Hermes copycats out there and there's no need for that, having bought Hermes items I can tell you your work is even better than theirs. Just be you :)
From your Experience what type of Fabric is best to use on a Wallet for the usage of maybe a Decade or so?
Unfortunately, we don't use any fabrics in our artwork.
If you were asking about the leather articles, what we've been using are all the long-lasting leathers if we use them gently with enough care.
The choice all depends on the personal preferences between scratch/ aging signs vs suppleness with grain patterns.

That was a Korean machine from Iron Bridge.
But our old model has some imperfections with the overall construction.

We do understand what you want to express here, but the truth is not that unethical nowadays.
The meat and the remained Leather are still inevitable for our lives and in a good role in our lives and we don't have 100% identical or better alternative materials out there.
We are just a small atelier that turns the leather into a masterpiece to last as long as they can in a beautiful design with a purpose.
We are not the farm or tannery, and even they care about the ethical issues nowadays.
I hope someday people don't judge anyone in this business just by the wrong information on the internet.
the information is crystal clear, animals are killed for luxury handbags and all leather goods. alligators are raised for their skins then get sent for the meat industry. i think you should do more research on the inhumae treatment of these beautiful alligators and watch the video from LV and HERMES. @@AtelierSANGBLEU
