Mind Warehouse ► goo.gl/aeW8Sk In our new compilation, we'll see people who thought they were in for a fun time at an amusement park, but immediately regretted it!
When I was twelve and at my favorite spring event, the small traveling fair, someone died. One of the “cars” from what I called the octopus ride came uncoupled, sending its occupants flying into the street. Along with being terribly sad, it changed how I viewed what was considered safe. It was the end of innocence for me because every ride thereafter, I thought was unsafe.
especially when it comes to those county fair ones, because they are hand built up and down and it looks like it could come apart, so I don't go to them anymore. 💯
As a teen I was on a county fair in a looping ride. When we were on top of the ride we had an power outage, because of an excavator cutting a main. We hang over head for a long time and some had problems staying conscious. None of the emergency backup generator the city had was powerful enough. They had to get a bigger generator from another city about 50km (30mi.) away. I had bruises from the security frame and couldn't walk for some time, because I lost feeling in my legs and was weak. The emergency controlled blood pressure, gave medications etc. from a fire truck ladder until the generator arrived and they were able to unlock the brakes and lower the car. Only in the parking position they could open the security frame.
I remember many years ago I was with my family at Disney World. One of the days we decided to hit Blizzard Beach, one of the water parks. There was this waterslide that appeared to have a 75-foot instant drop. Well, the drop was steep enough that I was reconsidering my decision. That was until my loving father put his foot on the top of my head and gave me a push. When the 3-second experience was over, I wanted to do it again, but first I had to find a crowbar to undo my mega wedgie.
I was strongly coerced into a roller coaster ride 60 years ago. When I got off it I could barely walk from fear. I've never been on one or anything like it since. Now, seeing people die reinforces my nearly life long aversion.
2.19 cannot possibly be real as it would not be allowed a licence to operate. Love the dog and his ears. Pity no sign as to where the rides are, and what creations, amazing!
My cousin worked as a roadie at a carnival. He said to never go on a traveling carnival . They are taken down and put back together so much. Bolts and pin ware out. Accidents happen.
my favorite ride as a kid was something called the Caterpillar, which half way through the trip it would be shrouded in total darkness and we got to ride in dark terror for at least five minutes. I loved it.
When groundskeepers clean up from under roller coasters, I have always wondered how much money, the number of wallets, phones, etc is found and what they do with it.
@@0331machinegunman I'll bet the workers at an amusement park or fair are that decent. 😂 I have seen people clean up after (certain) music shows/festivals who try to contact the original owner. I mean, cash or drugs are free game, but items with names or personal effects are usually returned via social media.... of course, this depends highly on the type of music community
@@1t_wasnt_me If someone did not think of the concept, then how do you think the ride is constructed? You obviously have zero knowledge when it comes to drafting, mathematics, engineering, and construction. I could go on, but I do not want to overload your feeble little brain. It just might explode from actually learning something.
@@1t_wasnt_me What do you mean no, they don't? OP is technically right, however, every product, every space shuttle, everything starts as a thought in someone's head before the final product is completed. I don't care what it is. Look around, and anything you see that was manmade started as a thought first.
I went on a ride similar to the one at 5:47 when I was only 6 years old. I was tall for a 6 year old, but there is no way I was actually big enough for that ride. My dad had to put his arm on my legs to stop me just falling through the top of the harness. Just goes to show that just because someone is tall enough for a ride doesn’t mean that their body is built for it yet. My shoulders were just not wide enough for the harness. Put me off rides that went upside down for years afterwards.
As a child, I went on a water ride that used inner tubes. We all ended up in a single line going through this open cave-like structure. I stood up thinking the ride was over. A nearby lifeguard literally yelled at me to sit back down. Talk about embarrassed!🙄
@9:45 those two railroad tracks pinpoint the location: the New River Gorge steel arch bridge near Fayetteville, West Virginia. Since its opening in 1977 it has held an annual 'Bridge Day' on the third Saturday in October. It is one of only two structures in the US from which BASE jumping is legal. The other is another steel arch, the Perrine bridge in Twin Falls, Idaho where jumping is allowed year round. The New River bridge is much higher above water level (876 v 486 feet).
This was probably the most fun I've ever had watching a video. I smiled and giggled a couple times. This was a MAJOR win. Just a great video all around.
Keep in mind that when you go on amusement park rides you are entrusting your life to a bunch of minimum wage employees who will only work just hard enough to not get fired and will take as many short cuts as they can to make their jobs easier.
How does a simulated dinosaur that is chewing you up relate to a meteorite going past your planet?? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever!! Some of these are really stupid!
I like the zipline ride through the casinos and the Jurassic water one. Even as a kid I wouldn’t go one rides that were too spiny or went upside down or on rollercoasters cause my stomach wouldn’t take it.
I went on a water slide 40 years ago that I will never forget. It was very steep and very long. The sign said to cross your ankles and keep them crossed. I don't remember what it was actually called but I always remember it as The Sonic Enema. Down the slide, into the pool, out of the pool and straight into the bathroom, praying to all you hold dear that you'll make it before the pint of water that just forcefully entered your back door finds its way out again!! I barely made it. Many others were not as lucky.
10:20, Meteorites don't zoom past our planet, a Meteorite is an object that actually hits the surface of a planet or moon, a meteor is an object that enters the atmosphere, what you are talking about is a Comet or asteroid, an object that is in space.

At one time I had ridden every major thrill ride in the US. Would love to check out most of those rides, but now I'm an old guy with familial responsibilities.
I would say two of my favourite rides I’ve ever been on are shockwave at Drayton manor where you are standing up the whole Time and at one point you actually go upside down and air at Alton towers where you are laying down facing forward actually flying above water probably the closest I will get to experiencing what’s it’s like to be a bird - also that Jurassic world ride looks incredible!!
People in the front row of rides rarely are vomited on. And that poor crocodile in Darwin Oz, only thing separating him from those women was a thin plexiglass cylinder.. they had to tempt him with food treats to get him close...
U won't find me on any CARNIVAL ride ever again! 😭😅 Those Carnie's don't care if nuts 🔩 or bolts are laying around while building these death contraptions 😅
25:53 Okay, what and where is this? This is crazy scary and maybe something that I need to look into. I can make out that the metal footsteps have Orbar on them, but I cannot find anything on it.
Only the pyramid ride and maybe the flying on the strong airstream for me. All the others, no way. I have such phobias of falling or walking on unsteady surfaces that I couldn't do it. I hadn't heard they were going to have the "jetpack ride" at the Fremont Street Experience in Las Vegas, though, when I was living there.
The hot air balloon landing was not out of control. I was crew for a tourist balloon company and we would retrieve balloons like that just about weekly.
In the wave pool, there is no way that can be sanitary, oh my goodness can you imagine that’s gotta be somewhere in one of the Asian countries because they don’t care about things being clean. They should limit the amount of people that can go in and not have it so crowded, if someone was drowning, you would never see you until it was too late because there were so many people in there. That’s pathetic.

There is NO WAY that coaster shooting that car up into the air is real!
My guess is that the video CLIP has been HEAVILY edited.
Oh yeah , They said it was real because it wasn't windy that day 🤣😂🤣
It looked terrifying, so hopefully its fake!! 🤞🏽
One clip is fake and then, delete. Don't want to watch the rest. That one is definitely fake.

I was thinking 🤔 the same 😅
As a huge rollercoaster and theme park enthusiast. This was a fun video and not as click baity as I assumed it was gonna be.
Why did rides go from just 'fun' to terrifying?!!
Most of those rides must be made to see how many folks they can get to throw up.
When groundskeepers clean up from under roller coasters, I have always wondered how much money, the number of wallets, phones, etc is found and what they do with it.
They probably bring it all to the "lost & found." The people who clean up after concerts though... 😵
