My issue with her isnât that she looks like a child. Itâs that she expects people to instantly know sheâs an adult and not a child. I get why it would be frustrating. But Iâve seen video of a guy who had a similar disorder but instead of trying to fight what they looked like, he used it to his advantage and would get childrenâs discounts when he was with is friends and he was a stunt double for children. She needs to learn to accept herself and also understand that people will think she is a child. This wonât change at all.

Itâs a no win situation for her. I think Shaunaâs biggest obstacle (like a lot of other people here are saying) is her attitude and personality. I think she needs to mature to the age that she claims to be, because the age she presents herself/the age sheâs perceived as and the age she is in eyes of the law are two different things. Age isnât necessarily just how many days youâve spent on the earth, because a lot of it is determined by your behavior and maturity. So basically, in a nutshell Shauna, you gotta fix your attitude and behavior before anyoneâs gonna take you seriously. If you behave like a child, youâll get treated like one.

Even if she is justified in being bitter due to being treated like a kid, it's not gonna give her any favours to stay bitter and rude for her whole life. She has to accept her situation and make the best of it, there's no miracle coming to give her all that she wants in spite of her personality.
The irony is that she could've done a hormone replacement therapy but her parents didn't give growth hormone consistently because she didn't like shots as a child.. Her mom said that perhaps if she had stayed consistently on HGH as a child, she would be a lot taller.

When it comes to the guy being treated like a creep, having relations with a kid isn't wrong because of their height or their youthful appearances. It's their lack of context that makes them unable to consent legally. Any attempt would be seen as exploitation of someone who doesn't understand the full context of what they're agreeing to.
Predators can use shame against a victim by making them feel like the relationship was consensual when the victim wasn't even capable of consenting because of their age or perhaps even under mind altering substances at the time.
It all had to do with whether the person had enough context to consent. As a country our philosophers of law have determined that age to be 18 for most things. I think nowadays with how poor or education system is the age is more like 35. đ

Ive always found dwarf adults who look like children uncanny. On one hand they look like kids, but when you look upclose at their face there's this surreal look.

I have a friend who is 4â8 and I am 5â8. We were friends in high school and were 24 now so I have seen/heard of what sheâs gone through trying to date as an adult. I can imagine the pain sheâs truly gone through, I can only empathize.
Even going to concerts is really hard for her because if sheâs not pressed at the door, the only way for her to see anything of the stages is for her to literally be in the front row.

To be fair, Shauna is viewable as a child in every single regard. Obviously arguments can be such as "Well i really really like her personality" but you can't even say that about Shauna because she ACTS like a child. Instead of accepting the harsh reality she makes it worse and feeds it by stomping around and complaining all the time, and shouting when she doesn't get her way. Hard to say it's not creepy to like her, when not even her personality is matured or appealing

I finally squeaked up to 5' around age 22-23 when I stopped growing, but I always felt uncomfortable dating men too tall or too old (even though I like older men lol). The height/age difference, and the fact I have always looked *much* younger than my age, made me hyper aware of certain 'types' of men who would ask me out. And there were a LOT....and I never looked 8...
