After everything i've been reading, searching and learning in this bizarre complicated "world", I would not be surprised anymore. There are so many strange occurrences beyond our comprehension. When I think of Elvis I think of the happy times I had listening to his music and movies. He was an escape to a "happy world". I was ten when they announced his death. I cried for days and weeks. If he is alive, God Bless him. He'll always have a special place in my heart.

@@tess8117 I've never heard a reason Vernon sealed the autopsy report until the 50th anniversary of his son's passing. My guess is that he hoped it would be far enough in the future that it would be less "damaging" (for lack of better terms) to his public person or something to that effect. It's (obviously) pure speculation on my part.
You know who else was burning a hole in Elvis' pocket, his manager Parker. If he had fired him and been able to tour Europe, Asia, and acted in the movie A Star Is Born, like he had wanted then he would've had something to look forward to. He would've gotten himself in shape and probably lived longer.
He was in pretty rough shape before he died but it's always nice to go down the rabbit hole!

This is a very tough one. While the idea itself is not impossible to imagine a reality, it still always comes around to his health at the time that makes it very qustnioble to say;
"Even if Elvis with a lot of very organised help had faked his death, it is difficult to imagine he would have lived that many years afterwards.
Elvis was in pretty rough shape before he died. A very poor diet, over-eating, lots of alcohol, lots of strong medications and abuse of it to add and the fact that he had had for a very long time problem with sleeping. A lot of mental stress was his daily life, but the physical stress was breaking him down fast.
I don't take any side of this. If true, then I wish Elvis had a better, happier life in final years. Elvis was a very kind, generous and carrying person who has to fight a lot of people who took advantage of him, stole from him and overall was very poor "friends" who did not do what real friends doo, that is help and take stride with a friend's poor decisions.
