Eventually they found out the real cause years later, Lyme's disease. By then it had destroyed his immune system and rendered permanent brain damage. Thank you for your reaction. Ren's song "Patience" was popular in the online ME community when he first released it in 2014, which was first previewed on his health blog on 3 February 2014, a year before his interview with Ayesha.
