  • Hildegard of Bingen (German: Hildegard von Bingen; Latin: Hildegardis Bingensis; 1098 - 17 September 1179), also known as Saint Hildegard and the Sibyl of the Rhine, was a German Benedictine abbess and polymath active as a writer, composer, philosopher, mystic and visionary during the High Middle Ages.
She is one of the best-known composers of sacred monophony, as well as the most recorded in modern history. She has been considered by many in Europe to be the founder of scientific natural history in Germany.
Hildegard's convent elected her as magistra in 1136; she founded the monasteries of Rupertsberg in 1150 and Eibingen in 1165. She wrote theological, botanical, and medicinal texts, as well as letters, hymns and antiphons for the liturgy and poems, while supervising miniature illuminations in the Rupertsberg manuscript of her first work, Scivias.
There are more surviving chants by Hildegard than by any other composer from the entire Middle Ages, and she is one of the few known composers to have written both the music and the words. One of her works, the Ordo Virtutum, is an early example of liturgical drama and arguably the oldest surviving morality play. She is also noted for the invention of a constructed language known as Lingua Ignota.
Although the history of her formal canonization is complicated, regional calendars of the Roman Catholic Church have listed her as a saint for centuries. On 10 May 2012, Pope Benedict XVI extended the liturgical cult of Hildegard to the entire Catholic Church in a process known as "equivalent canonization". On 7 October 2012, he named her a Doctor of the Church, in recognition of "her holiness of life and the originality of her teaching."

The Jewels of Light is an organic structure made up of a gathering of well-intentioned disciples, driven by the goals of the Aquarian Age. The group prepares the paths for what is to come and sheds light on the development of the human family. Its purpose is to support creation, to show the way to those who seek it. This path is the path of Himalayan Wisdom and the White Brotherhood. The Jewels of Light is non-profit, cares about service to the earth and living beings, that is the priority.
The Jewels of Light teachings are based on the liberating influence of the Aquarian Age. It is not driven by the fearful, devotional feeling and thinking of the previous era, the age of Pisces, but moves forward in the causality and flame of reason. If there is something to be devoted to, it is the group and the human family.
The group moves forward with its own goals, principles, values and beliefs. It is compassionate, kind and tolerant. It approaches the Bodhisattva and Bodhicitta understandings, using this precious purpose as a mirror for itself.
The occult side of the group which is created by group work is like a "beacon" for us and our compass in the darkness. This light, created by the collective energy of the group, is the insignia of the group. He endeavors to explain the path, the ashrams, the ray energies and the hierarchy to his followers in order to understand the fixed cross of the heavens and to advance on the path of discipleship.

So grateful for the algorhythm that's brought me you. This helps calm me down and feel like I can accomplish those big things that seem like such mountains. Reminds me that there is much more mystery to life and death. Thank you.

So my wife is a huge fan of Hildegard von Bingen as a healer, I got to know quite a lot about her because of that. Today I played a game named rimworld, which has random characters and one of mine was called Hildegard von Bingen, so I thought om, that's pretty cool. Then a few hours later I continue watching Outlander and happen to be exactly at the episode where "Hildegard von Bingen" was introduced. That was the first time I learned she was also a composer of music so that's why I came here. And I am happy I did, this goes straight to the soul❤

I've read about her, that she has assured several times that she received her knowledge through the spiritual world. She had her channels open and still works through them today, as you can hear... Healing without the limits of space and time. Wonderful

That's really impressive! Hildegard's journey to becoming a church doctor must have been quite challenging. Her music carries such deep emotions and meaning, calling us to higher understanding and change. Thank you for sharing this with me, pal.

In her music, I feel the Almighty Creator above all religions. Beyond Christianity, Islam, or Judaism, or any of the others.

Bonjour.
