Just wanted to say thanks. In all my 17 years of life I never knew how to lower my blinds and would just fight with the strings until they did what i wanted lol. With the 45 degree angle trick i have mastered the art of using blinds

To add to this, sometimes your blinds are stuck at a high position to the point where the tension is so high that you can't raise our lower your blinds. Pushing the blinds up with your hands and pulling the string simultaneously to lower the string tension will help get it working again.

I was 5 seconds away from just ripping the cords out of the wall from frustration. I swear I tried pulling them in every possible direction but fortunately for my blinds I decided to try looking it up and found this video. Slightly pulling the string down over and over again because the blinds would go down a tiny bit when I did and I'd be stuck doing that for about three minutes
