  • Welcome to another episode in my Ultimate World Coin Search series, a group of videos where we unbox a half pound of mixed foreign and world coins from all over the world! For this series, I bought some world coin lots and then paid a lot of extra money to supplement it with a better mix... and it certainly has been showing! There has been a good amount of silver, older foreign coins, and really cool countries that I haven't seen coins from before. Hope you enjoy this series of videos as much as I did while I was making it!

    The Spanish coin at 6:53 has a very interesting story. It is from the Spanish Civil War and is the first coin to be issued by the Nationalists under Franco. It was struck in Vienna, Austria.

    Great video, as always, Christian. And BRAVO on your pronunciation for Austria! My dad’s a German native and I grew up speaking the language and it’s always nice to hear people who know it :). Thanks again!

    As far as the drachmas are concerned the first one from 1954 depicts king Paul and the second from 1971 depicts king Constantine II and it is the last drachmas from the kingdom of Greece. Because in 1967 there was a coup. And in 1971 the king tried to take back the country from the military leadership he failed and left the country with his family and greece is a republic since then.

    Hi Christian!
    The inscription on the Prussian coins means that it‘s a 84th of a „Kölnische Mark“, which is 233.8123 metric grams fine silver.
    Best regards from Germany!

    Your old silver Prussian coin really isn't that valuable, but the first coin you showed (10 Ore) and the 1931 Canadian nickel are both in very nice condition, and have some numismatic value. Other nice coins as well. With foreign coins, just like American ones, age isn't that important, but condition is!

      @jackjoseph4226 Před 3 lety

      just because it isn't valuable doesn't mean it's not cool
