getting my septum pierced was my best decision ever. i loved it. healed pretty fast, in about a month i was able to change rings, second month i was able to stretch to a bigger gauge. i looooove it

lunameetsworld || Idk, it usually takes about 6-8 months for it to fully heal. For some it may even take about a year to heal which is crazy. I do not have one, but I have done research.
@@rhxdel ive had mine for a couple months and it doesn't hurt at all now, can pull on it and change it and it's fine (: it's probably been about a month not hurting but i didn't try to change it til about a week ago

Jasmine Medina no, not really and I’ve had it pierced twice in the same spot, honestly very low on the pain scale, it feels like a small pinch and some pressure, all that really hurts is the clamp (that’s honestly the worst part of the whole experience) you’ll feel soreness/tenderness for 2-3 weeks but it’s honestly not too bad. I’ve had my septum for 10 months now. If you’re wanting to get it you definitely should.

The piercing itself doesn’t hurt. It’s more like your eyes water from the pressure in your nose from the clamps during it

if you do it yourself then dont use a clamp because it usually doesnt go well and it hurts less
Because it’s in ur nose it’ll tickle and you’ll cry etc but it won’t hurt that much I think. I’m basing my opinion off my knowledge of medical sciences so it can differ from reality lol

I’ve had my septum for 10 months and I absolutely love it! It’s hard to flip in the beginning but I left my piercing flipped until it healed (for work purposes) it looks really nice on you! 💗
Heyy so like i just got mine pierced and it’s flipped up cause i want to hide it and like when can i start flipping it up and down (whenever i want to)

Just had mine done. Soreness for first few days up to a week but healing very well. Even flipped it a few times with no issues or pain. Im loving it!!

I made the same face and let out a sound when I got my septum pierced haha, it stung a lot but I’d rate it a 6/10 on pain scale. I’m a baby so it’ll probably hurt less for others looking to get one. It looks beautiful on you!

I recently got mine 3 days ago and the worst part was the clamp and needle because it was so uncomfortable and obviously my eyes watered a lot and i cried unintentionally lmaoo, but it was really quick. I do get those painful crusties and just clean off my piercing with salt water and a cutip, then use warm water to wash it off and it feels so much better after I clean it. Overall, I don't feel any pain unless I accidentally touch it or if I feel any of the crusties. I don't regret getting my piercing ☺️☺️
I did the same but avoided using q-tips because the cotton can get caught in the ring or the crusties and you risk irritation of infection. However, when my piercing was about 3 months old I did start using qtips but made sure to flush it with saline after.

@@rowdysims7613 hii! My septum is healed, I got it done in December. Just make sure you go to a piercer who has good reviews! The girl who pierced my septum was so sweet, she pierced my sweet spot and it didn't even hurt!

Yes it looks so cute!!! My septum piercing is my favorite and I don’t feel myself when I don’t have it in lol. I’ve had my nose pierced like 4 times and the septum was so much less painful and it healed pretty quickly after it was done being swollen.

@@Volklor It went well, I did cry a little, but it was like a pretty big pinch. People say the clamp hurts more but for me the needle did. For the first few days it hurt to move, and it felt like it was still being pinched a little but like after the first week it felt fine. I really enjoy the piercing! Thanks for asking!

Just watch your video and you look so amazing. So I just had my septum piercing 2days ago. And when my mom saw it she was really mad, like she feel like I’m disrespecting her 😂😂. But I really love it . No regrets. Btw I’m from Philippines 🇵🇭
My septum hurt, a lot, but the piercer may have gone through cartilage because the sweet spot was really small and I also wanted the bigger gauge and she warned me about it. My industrial still hurt way worse tho, and my septum is almost completely painless now and I haven't even had it for 2 weeks. The piercer said 9 out of 10 people cry when they get it, even if it doesn't hurt it's just a natural reflex to what's happening with your nose! I didn't cry when I got the industrial, but I cried with the septum even though it wasn't *that* painful.
The crusties are a bitch for real tho, for me they hurt when they go inside the piercing when I try to wash the piercing and jewellery for example, or just hit my nose lmao

How did your friend eat after her labert I got mine redone with a spiked horseshoe hoop rainbow now it's an 18g 3/8 sliver hoop hinged now indo have smaller ones black and rainbow hoop 16g 5/16 but I have a good few so I'm pretty sure it will be pretty easy I get told to use bactine and I'll be sticking to that lol and order a wound wash to also spray up there so I'm not using bactine more then 2 a day morning night then the other times a different spray

What gauge and size ring was your septum? It’s super cute! I have mine done and it was pierced with a 14g and typically have it flipped up for work. It’s been over a year and I think I wanna downsize to a 16g. I kinda feel the 14g looks too thick on me. Or I’m just weird. Haha!
14g is definitely on the thicker side but it’s always better to pierce with a thicker gauge and then downsize so that it’s easier to change the jewelry yourself

I'm having my septum done for my 30th birthday Feb 2 getting a black retainer they do that and I'm getting my conch done with a fushia pink orange hoop part then either dark orange sapphire gem or orange opal lol having my shit personally ordered lol 🤣 and I'll be keeping it flipped up the whole time until healed

I just got my septum pierced yesterday. It hurt less that the clamps she used in my nose. It was a good thing tho, I barely felt the needle.. until it also went though my right nostril.. but as soon as she put the jewelry in i didn’t feel pain. Only in my nostril that wasn’t supposed to be stabbed. And I don’t mean the nostril was pricked after it went through my septum, I legit mean it went clear through my nostril and in the video you can see the needle peek out. But overall I love it so far and can’t wait to switch out my jewelry

If someone is still here, seriously don't be stubborn to not eat or drink before getting any piercing because the change you faint is high if you don't eat or drink
When I got my septum piercing, I did get teary eyed but it wasn’t because of the pain (it was the least painful piercing I’ve gotten) it was because I had to sneeze and I was trying so hard to not sneeze in piercers face lol.

I also wanted a septum piercing but I remembered that I have dust allergy which can set off anytime. Imagine having to sneeze constantly on a fresh piercing.

i got my septum done a month ago and i was wondering if you or anyone else had like painful scabs at the top inside of your nostril. i’ve got that atm in one of my nostrils and have had it for 2 weeks or so. really painful and i think it might be dried sebum or an infection. any help would be appreciated.
I got mine done like 3 weeks ago too & yes I had those too but you can clean it off with a q tip and water and it’ll relieve the pain. I found it helped to not let the crustier build up

I got a nostril piercing a couple months ago, thinking about getting my septum pierced anybody know what the pains like compared to getting a nostril done
Ive never gotten a septum piercing BUT i’ve done a ton of research and basically the septum piercing should be less painful than a nostril piercing. However, if the septum piercing is done incorrectly, it will hurt way more. Basically, a septum piercing isn’t meant to go through cartilage, which is why it barely hurts. But it’s easy to mess up and accidentally put the needle through cartilage. So to recap, a septum piercing should be way less painful than a nostril piercing IF it is done correctly

I got mine but I think it’s crooked 🥺 I don’t know what to do, I really want to keep it, but I don’t wanna get it repierced, it was too painful for me
It might just be the swelling. Mine was crooked due to swelling and when it died down the piercing was straight :)

just tell the people up in the jewelry section that you want it hidden n they will give you certain jewelry you can choose from.
just remember that the jewelry might cost more than the piercing service. you can upgrade/change the jewelry once your piercing is fully heal.

People don´t cry because the septum hurts, its because the nose area is connected with the eyes and the tear thingies (idk how they are called sorry haha) and because of the little needle the skin there gets irrated and that´s why you start tearing up :)

It shouldn't go through the cartilage of the nose. There's a spot in the nostril between where the cartilage is, and where the tip of your nose is, it's just soft skin. That's where the piercing would be

Sorry for the late reply. It cost around $40 for the piercing job itself, but what’s pricey is the choice of jewelry. My septum ring cost me around $90 I think. The better the quality of metal, the better the healing. :)
