An electronic synth pop tune about the invention of the Odnes Martenot electronic keyboard.
The Ondes Martenot or Ondes Musicales ("musical waves") is an early electronic musical instrument which is played with a keyboard or by moving a ring along a wire, creating "wavering" sounds similar to a theremin. The Ondes Martenot was invented in 1928 by the French inventor Maurice Louis Eugène Martenot. Martenot was inspired by the accidental overlaps of tones between military radio oscillators, and wanted to create an instrument with the expressiveness of the cello. The instrument has been featured on songs by Radiohead and Daft Punk.

Ian S. McIntosh (A.K.A. Psyköhead) is a music producer from Northeast Scotland. He signed to She's Super Records based in Naples, Italy. Ever since he made a house music track back in the 1980s using a toy keyboard, an alarm clock and a tape recorder with the erase head taped over he has been hooked on recording and producing music.
Ian works in the oil industry on North Sea Platforms. To pass the time in the evenings whilst offshore, he bought a high-powered gaming laptop, loaded up FL Studio and a load of plug-ins and began working on what would become the bones of (first album 2021) AUTOMATE:1. The rest of this solo project would be completed at home. He is currently working on a new album "Defying The Acoustics". Influencing the creation of the music are such acts as: Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Giorgio Moroder, John Carpenter, Chemical Brothers, Dance With The Dead and many more…
