I have always been a ray ban and maui Jim fan, just bought Randolph Intruders, the quality is amazing much better than anything else and happy to buy something that is made in America for a change.
I also bought my brand new gun metal framed Randolph Engineering Crew Chief with neutral gray lenses in 1995 and I'm still using it up to the present. The nose pads just a bit yellow but it still looks awesome. I think I bought it for about $25 in peso equivalent here in the Philippines. Excellent quality! Thanks RE!
So anyone that knows both brands wanna tell me which is better Maui Jim or Randolph? I keep hearing the same thing about both..that they are both the best brand of sunglasses there is.
I own 3 pairs of Randolph and two pairs of Maui Jim. I would say they are both equally good but I give a slight edge to Randolph for their lifetime guarantee. Lifetime repairs and they’ll even tune up your sunglasses if the hinges or anything are coming loose. With Maui, as much as I love them, they only give you a two year warranty, after that , you’re pretty much on your own.
@@Bankrollprimo Maui Jim provides free temples and nose pads for lifetime and their customer service is also brilliant. Wouldn’t say you’re on your own after 2 years.
We can confirm that the frames in Mad Men are #MyRandolphs - Jon has been a fan of ours for years and our team worked with the propmaster to feature Randolph Aviators in the show 😎

Maui Jim is good, Randolph Engineering is better.
The US military buys Randolph, not Maui Jim, sunglasses for aircrews. Enough said!

Too bad BX’s on military bases don’t sell these
It's funny how those which Jon Hamm wears in Mad Men are American Optical model Pilot, slightly different from Randolph E.
