Нам рассказывали все сит, как ужасно живут на Западе люди. А теперь железный занавес из русофобии и страшилок про "нищую диктаторскую рабскую рашку" пестуют власти "запада". Откровенно лгут. ❓ Наверное, не хотят чтобы люди увидели как стремительно жизнь в России становится лучше и лучше. Что по уровню и качеству жизни россияне начинают вырываться вперёд. Oruzheynaya Palata, which can roughly be translated as "Arms Chamber", is inside The Kremlin beyond its walls. It is called after a treasure keeping office of old and acts as a museum since 1806(back then it was only for nobility). Together with The Diamond Fund(which is an Arms Chamber's branch, really) they can be called main museum for personal relics, weaponry, jeverly and other treasures of Russian Tzars and Emperors. For example The Crown of Russian Empire is kept there in The Diamond Fund. Also two biggest diamonds in Russia - "Shakh" and "Orlov", both of which are truly remarkable in their size, looks and history. So - in the Historical Museum - old weapons. In Arms Chamber - exquisite gilded weapons studded with gems, which belonged to some Tzar. Easy to understand the difference).

Man I so love your video's...I think I can relate to the feeling that you must have felt standing in the center of Red Square. Your face gave away the emotions. I felt like that when I stood on the Great Wall of China, something I had wanted to do since I was five years old. I phoned my mother 45 yrs later and said, Guess where I am calling you from? I could feel history and cultures coursing through my body. Seeing you in the Red Square, just makes me more determined to do another longer trip to Russia and this time see more than just the suburbs of Moscow. The 4 regions should be forest, meadow, steppe and tundra. Meadow was by the river (not exactly a swamp by initial design, I assume). Forest is easy. Steppe is in the middle of the park, and tundra is a narrow area near the historical buildings that you’ve seen from a distance.

It will not be "The" Stalin's bunker, it will be from the same era, but not his personal one. It is marketing for tourists, all bunkers built or ordered at Stalin's era are called Stalin's bunkers 😐 A real one that you can visit is - "Belorusskaya" metro station. At the beginning of Great Patriotic War all government officials, including Stalin were moving there at night, when air raids were the most dangerous. Also a shelter under one building at "Chistiye Prudi" was used as a governmental bunker. But most of the war Stalin was not using any bunker at all, because moving here and there was messing with his working schedule and he worked a lot. As far as I can remember from the top of my head only 2 bombs fell on Kremlin during WW2, at least one of them fell into gardens and both did't do much damage. All prominent buildings in Moscow including Kremlin were camouflaged to be unrecognizable and unseen from a plane, so it was not that easy to target.
In the mid 90's I was able to go inside St. Basil's Cathedral (might be closed to tourists now). Little building by the Kremlin wall is the Lenin's Tomb where you can see his preserved body (in normal times). Great video! I was with my wife at the same places in October of last year, so it brings me back.

It is great that you came to see Moscow. The not so bridge I would call it a mirador. You didn't check out the famous toilets in the GUM. Next time check them out. You must pay although. I visited Moscow 2 years ago in July. I love it ❤. My advice is, before travelling to a place like Moscow and St. Peterburg, do some basic reading about the history and iconic sightseeing places. Every time I visit a place I take a sightseeing tour on those buses. Believe me, it's worth every penny. You can choose a 48-hour hop on hop off tour. Some even include a boat ride. This is the best way to have a quick look and to learn the main points of a place. I did it in Moscow, in Madrid, in Barcelona, in New York, in Belfast, in Dublin. If you're still in Moscow, try it.

Когда то, будучи в Москве, кроме мороженного из ГУМа, нужно было обязательно похрустеть чипсами Московский картофель, а друзьям или знакомым, привезти в виде презента, сигареты Ява и папиросы «Герцеговина Флор».

Guess it will be interesting for you to visit Novodevichy Ponds Park- there is a sculpture based on the story "Make way for ducklings" by Robert McCloskey which was given as a gift by Barbara Bush when she was First Lady of the United States in 1991. Whish nowadays countries would send metal to each other in the form of sculptures rather than bombs..
There are a few monuments, big and small, that stand to remind us of better relations between our countries. Tsereteli's 9-11 Teardrop in NY harbor, a sculpture of Whitman by MGU... The ducklings were the cutest, of course ...

We had hoped to go inside.
The late autumn flowers are beautiful scenery. Dan is looking for ponds parks lakes and old ancient buildings. I wonder that building's colourful paints are not weathering. In our country weather resistant paints are not durable. The ice cone looks delicious not creamy so long lasting. Thanks brothers Rose and Constantine for guiding Dan Xenia around. God bless you all.

Man I so love your video's...I think I can relate to the feeling that you must have felt standing in the center of Red Square. Your face gave away the emotions. I felt like that when I stood on the Great Wall of China, something I had wanted to do since I was five years old. I phoned my mother 45 yrs later and said, Guess where I am calling you from? I could feel history and cultures coursing through my body.
Seeing you in the Red Square, just makes me more determined to do another longer trip to Russia and this time see more than just the suburbs of Moscow. I felt, through you the same feeling once more as you stood there just taking it in. THANK YOU...keep it coming bro.

А Никольская является главной для иностранцев в определённом смысле, случилось это после ЧМ-2018
Когда я училась на Никольской в начале нулевых, она даже не была пешеходной.

The 4 regions should be forest, meadow, steppe and tundra. Meadow was by the river (not exactly a swamp by initial design, I assume). Forest is easy. Steppe is in the middle of the park, and tundra is a narrow area near the historical buildings that you’ve seen from a distance.

It will not be "The" Stalin's bunker, it will be from the same era, but not his personal one. It is marketing for tourists, all bunkers built or ordered at Stalin's era are called Stalin's bunkers 😐
A real one that you can visit is - "Belorusskaya" metro station. At the beginning of Great Patriotic War all government officials, including Stalin were moving there at night, when air raids were the most dangerous. Also a shelter under one building at "Chistiye Prudi" was used as a governmental bunker. But most of the war Stalin was not using any bunker at all, because moving here and there was messing with his working schedule and he worked a lot.
As far as I can remember from the top of my head only 2 bombs fell on Kremlin during WW2, at least one of them fell into gardens and both did't do much damage. All prominent buildings in Moscow including Kremlin were camouflaged to be unrecognizable and unseen from a plane, so it was not that easy to target.

Saint Basil’s Cathedral one of my favorite landmarks in the world
In the mid 90's I was able to go inside St. Basil's Cathedral (might be closed to tourists now). Little building by the Kremlin wall is the Lenin's Tomb where you can see his preserved body (in normal times). Great video! I was with my wife at the same places in October of last year, so it brings me back.
You can still go inside both of these places. My wife took me before we were married ;)

I probably wouldn't go for a restaurant - but a company importing all the ingredients from Mexico would be awesome. Some 20 years ago ALL Mexican and tex-mex restos in Moscow were supplied by ONE wholesale/catering company (solntse mexico), so wherever you went you'd still get the same burrito :-)

It is great that you came to see Moscow. The not so bridge I would call it a mirador. You didn't check out the famous toilets in the GUM. Next time check them out. You must pay although. I visited Moscow 2 years ago in July. I love it ❤. My advice is, before travelling to a place like Moscow and St. Peterburg, do some basic reading about the history and iconic sightseeing places. Every time I visit a place I take a sightseeing tour on those buses. Believe me, it's worth every penny. You can choose a 48-hour hop on hop off tour. Some even include a boat ride. This is the best way to have a quick look and to learn the main points of a place. I did it in Moscow, in Madrid, in Barcelona, in New York, in Belfast, in Dublin. If you're still in Moscow, try it.

Guess it will be interesting for you to visit Novodevichy Ponds Park- there is a sculpture based on the story "Make way for ducklings" by Robert McCloskey which was given as a gift by Barbara Bush when she was First Lady of the United States in 1991. Whish nowadays countries would send metal to each other in the form of sculptures rather than bombs..
There are a few monuments, big and small, that stand to remind us of better relations between our countries. Tsereteli's 9-11 Teardrop in NY harbor, a sculpture of Whitman by MGU... The ducklings were the cutest, of course ...

Ещё интересная табличка в Питере есть - барельеф на здании, где когда-то проживал будущий президент США. Нужно помнить это всё, не фига с памятниками бороться...
Кстати, при всей нелюбви к Церетели - его американский монумент очень мощный и по концепции, и по подаче. Может же, когда хочет....

@@knopkaplay0507 да много чего хорошего связывает обычных людей, вне зависимости от их страны.. Вообще народам не нужны войны и раздраи- это нужно политикам, с их амбициями и манией величия. Люди прекрасно между собой могут без всяких политиков находить общий язык и жить в мире.
Если вы ищете русское слово, которым можно назвать это сооружение над рекой, то может подойти слова "помост" и "палуба". Вообще у русского слова "мост" есть несколько значений и его можно использовать гораздо шире чем английское слово bridge.
Эстакада? Помост? На английском можно сказать ramp.
Ещё есть разница между словом "мост" и "путепровод". Преподаватель по ПДД ( правилам дорожного движения ) постоянно поправлял в своё время, чтобы не называли " мостами " всё подряд)))

The Church is the Basilica (Храм Василия Блаженного).
The building on the opposite end of the Red Square is the State Historical Museum (Государственный исторический музей). The Armory Chamber (Оружейная палата) is a building inside the Kremlin walls. The Red Square is north of the Kremlin and the Armory is in the SW corner.
The GUM (ГУМ) is an abbreviation for *Государственный Универсальный Магазин (State Supermarket) - *corrected
