Well to answer one of your questions. The first vampire, is the mother of all vampires, Akasha. Lestat’s maker isn’t that old, but Lestat spoke about him in the first season, his name was Magnus and he turned Lestat against his will. Armand isn’t actually ancient, he’s 514 years old, but his maker was Marius, a vampire from Ancient Rome.
Just a slight correction- Lestat’s maker is the one of the reason why he’s powerful. Magnus was almost 300 yrs old when he turned Lestat. Lestat is his only fledgling.
Lestat’s maker Magnus was very powerful in his own right even as a human, and his maker Ben was “turned” by an ancient…believe he was a 1st generation turned by Akasha. Ben is a 2nd gen. At any rate, Lestat is a 3rd gen vampire. The blood in him was not very diluted, and then he drank directly from Akasha too. So, that’s why Lestat is very powerful as a mere fledgling.
@@glittermethis I remember reading in the Vampire Lestat that Magnus had become a vampire by capturing a vampire and stealing it's blood. Magnus was a sorcerer who basically stole the "dark gift" in order to become a vampire. I can't remember who that vampire was.

13:54 I’m interested in why the lawyer “sleeping”, as if he knows Lestat can stay somewhere a while and bunker down for years. Does he know Lestat is a vampire? Does he work with Lestat?
There's a law firm in the Vampire Lestat book but I can't remember if it's the same one.... If it is they likely know and he's been their client since the 18th century.
He must know that Lestat a vampire by his answer.
Like previously mentioned, Lestat dealt with a law firm in Paris since the late eighteenth century. I'm sure the owners of that firm are aware of what he is considering the centuries of business they have handled for him.
After watching episode 2 , I realized Lestat and Armand have something in common: they both stalk Louis. Did anyone else notice how Armand's expression changes as the story is being told about how they met? When he embraces Louis's hand, he quickly looks up at Daniel and then immediately looks down at the floor, almost as if he's sad or lying.
The Alice attack on Daniel seemed out of character for Louis. Did Armand make him do this ? I was surprised Armand didn’t stop him like he did when he asked about Claudia’s assault.

Marius, is Armand's maker, Marius got him to be his sex slave. He eventually turned Armand after doing lots of paintings of him. I believe?
Marius was forced to turn Armand after he was poisoned. The sex slave bit is a little facetious but there was definitely a power dynamic and sex was involved. Marius had essentially a school of young boys that he brought Armand into, painting and philosophy were part of his education there.
Marius did not get Armand to be his sex slave. Where did you get that from? He bought him to free him from being a sex slave.
