Arborists do the robot!

Our utility arborists do a great job all year round preventing trees, branches and other vegetation from interfering with our network infrastructure. 🌲
And if we asked you to imagine them at work, you’d probably picture a team beavering away in their specialist orange PPE (of course!) with chainsaws, axes and loppers - all part of the typical arborist arsenal.
But have you ever considered adding a robotic mulcher to that list of tools? Or perhaps, like our own colleagues-with-the-cameras, you hadn’t even heard of this ingenious piece of kit!
We went out on site recently to meet Duncan and see for ourselves how the robotic mulcher network is helping our teams work more safely and efficiently out in the field.
